Big game tomorrow. A game Down need to win after last year's disappointment. I've no idea what to expect from Laois. McNulty has them set up well so Down need patience. Not sure how many of the Laois team remain from last years semi. But I feel the score will be closer tomorrow. Hopefully both teams can turn up and perform to their best and in front of a big crowd. I assume looking at ticketmaster there isn't a lot of tickets remaining.

Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

Will it stay in Leinster for another year. Would be nice to see Down win it after coming close last year. Hopefully there's a decent crowd in for it.

It won't be the next manager but the one after that Meath will become competitive again - MO'D 2016

The so called favourites in the last 2 years lost thr final. So who knows. Down will be nervous and need to get that loosers tag of their back.

Down exploiting the 10 step rule .....

Half time Down 0-8 Laois 1-3. Last score of the half from the Laois keeper from a free and was their first score for 20 minutes.

Down well in control but poor shot selection/finishing letting them down.

Should be up by at least 6pts.

thewobbler

Down's game to lose. They're a level above Laois.

They are but they are a poor enough team also.

Down just error prone all game. Hard to watch.

That should be it for Down. Was a closer game than many expected. Wasn't very impressed with Down at all or how they play the game, but they won the game so I suppose how you win doesn't matter.
Laois were a Div 4 team this year and it showed, a lot of wrong options taken when they had the ball.

What a goal for Laois! Keeper never seen it coming.

Down's keeper wouldn't inspire you with much confidence.

FT Down 0-14 Laois 2-6.  Down hang on but deserved winners in the end.  First final win in 13th attempts?
