I would guess Magherafelt would be well fancied as they have James Sargeant and Derry won the U17 All Ireland last year

Are any of them youngs playing as well? Wasn't much between them and Omagh last year

I believe that Magherafelt played a very weakened team v Omagh last week and just lost narrowly.  But unsure if Omagh did the same or not.

Didn't Dungannon beat St Pats in the Ranafast final last year. Could be 2 handy enough sides. That'll be good v Magherafelt then so

Eamon Young and Luke Grant there too who like Sargent were starters on Derry's all Ireland  winning minors team the last two  years

They did.  That Dungannon age group has won the last 3 Ulster Schools' competitions at their age group, that group will be final year MacRory next year.

St Paul's Bessbrook won the Rannafast 2 years ago, so in theory Magherafelt & Omagh have both potentially tricky ties in the play offs. St Paul's were brutal last year tho, they might have lost a few of that team. I think Abbey CBS Newry are worth keeping an eye on, I think they lost that Rannafast final to St Paul's which was unexpected.

Are most of that Armagh minor team in St Pat's / Bessbrook?

Well spread out between those 2, St Colmans, St Ronan's and Abbey i'd say.

I see Armagh had a convincing enough win and Magherafelt v Dungannon is level at half time

Was at Armagh match 1.10 to 1.4. Enniskillen an extremely limited side that came to frustrate Armagh and hope for the best up front pretty much. Their goal came from a point effort that hit a post and was poked home, tho tbf Armagh's goal was a fluke too.  Man marked Armagh's main man too. It was a very poor game to watch.

I see that Mac Rory knock out game between St. Colman's and St. Ronan's Lurgan is being played this Friday in Darver?

Is that Darver, as in Louth GAA?

Who would Armagh's main man be? Any notable players at St Ronans or St Pauls coming through?
I tend to think of myself as a one man wolfpack...

Yes, I saw this posted on socials.  Absolutely no idea why.
