They'll probably have to beat Brugge in their last game to sneak in

If United win on  Sunday, Pep sacked?

I can't see City sack him but he'll know himself and better than any pundit what's actually going on. If the players are against him, he might walk.

gallsman

He's just signed a new contract and the payout if he's sacked would be astronomical. He'll not walk and leave that behind him.

He'll not be sacked though.

Armagh18

Ah if that United team beat them he should be sacked and banned for a few years!

Quote from: tiempo on December 11, 2024, 11:23:47 PMGreat to see City Pep and Haaland struggle, long overdue, may it be total agony for them. Pep was a drugs cheat as a player, his Barca team were juiced and his City project is textbook financial doping/cheating

His method with the right players is almost unbeatable but he's just a boring twat, the slow demise of a gifted maverick in Jack Grealish has been painful to watch

Quote from: lurganblue on December 10, 2024, 11:19:57 PMDecent wins for Liverpool and Villa. Liverpool should have top 8 secured. Villa probably need another win from the last 2 games. As things are going, Duran could be starting ahead of Watkins soon.

I watched the Celtic game too. They seemed to dominate for large periods without threatening too much. They probably are kicking themselves to not have won that, but an away draw is still a good result. On course for playoffs.

Agree with this.
I think Duran is a better finisher than Watkins, but Watkins is much better in terms of overall play. Emery has the ideal scenario, 2 strikers fighting for 1 spot, both offer something different, gives him options for different opposition.

As with FSG and Klopp two years ago, the powers-that-be at City are far smarter and way more strategic than then the knee-jerk idiots on Twitter and radio call-ins.

Spurs are a shambles. Rangers have been all over them so far.

Yip, Ange is in trouble.

Shamrock Rovers currently 3-0 up which puts them 6th in the table.
A fantastic achievement for an Irish club.

Chelsea last up? Be great if results went their way and they got top 8

Blowitupref

Rangers 1 Tottenham 1 could have been any score in a game with two teams with little focus on much defending.

Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

ONeill

Poor Larne. Need to beat those Gent bastids.
I wanna have my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames.
