Quote from: Patsypower on October 07, 2024, 12:38:54 PMOguz and Ben McDonnell have a neck for completely disappearing on the field, granted Ben moreso than Joe. No wonder their kickouts take so long their keeper cannot find them. Yes errigals half backs do have a lot to offer but it's Colhoun that does the majority of it hes a complete workhorse. McCartan goes to wherever McDonnell goes. Their half forwards though, that's different, mcginley and mcgirr weaken the team.
if Darragh canavan isn't fit errigal are in bother, he's obviously irreplaceable but who do errigal really have could make an impact in thr full forward line. Thomas canavan slows the game for too much, kavanagh is no longer at that standard and traynor hasn't got the shooting power.

Wouldn't rubbish Mark Kavanagh that quickly. As a Carmen man, I think he is a class act. Worth far more than the 2 injury time minutes he got last night. Would start for almost any other club in the county. Personally, I would start him for Errigal.
Over who out of curiosity? Think Ciaran McGinley would be the only one unless you want to take out Robinson and move Canavan to 14 and Kavanagh in the corner

Errigal Ciaran/Ballygawley St. Ciaran's have never lost 2 SFC Finals in a row and the back to back hasn't been done by anyone in nearly 20 years. What a final this is going to be...

Will be comfortable final with or without son of god

People talking about this great Trillick team winning 3 of the last 4 titles, we will have 3 finals in a row with 2 wins and a league title this year, never mind what we will do in Ulster and All Ireland series

Ballygawley Roundabout

Not much talk on the clonoe/coalisland game at the weekend...

Will be happy to see either team going down.

Fancy clonoe to win.

Fianna have a change of management, some key players out and a few more half fit. Rahillys coming off the back of 3 decent performances in the championship and have the advantage of playing at home.

Fianna by 2 after extra time.

Anyone hear who the referee is going to be? Heard a rumour it was Martin Conroy but that cant be right with the possibility of the Moy meeting the winner.

You'd have thought Sean Hurson would be the only man for that gig.

Is Michael McKernan not in a cast? Tiarnan Quinn not out completely with a knee injury? Is Hampsey not awaiting a shoulder operation as soon as the season is finished.
Thats three essential players either missing or not near right. Big swing that towards Clonoe.

Yeah all that true which I touched on. I heard McKernan and Hampsey are both playing though. To be honest I have no idea who will win it. Clonoe just about squeaked over the line a few weeks with no McKernan and Devlin for the Fianna but Quinn being out is a huge blow for the Fianna so you are probably right it is a big swing towards Clonoe.

I can see it going to extra time though. I just can't imagine the Fianna in Division 2 so will give them the nod with no certainty whatsoever. Peter Donnelly being over them will give them a better chance of winning it than their previous management imo.

Certainly is strange seeing them in this position, is it being streamed?

Not being streamed and is hard to see how Clonoe could hold the crowd given the interest in this game. Huge.

I've no idea but I'm sure will be substantial.
