Quote from: DaleCooper on July 06, 2025, 06:05:10 PMIm no judge but very poor second half.

Ger Loughnane would have enjoyed the INTENSITY but scrappy and messy for the neutral

I'm not saying it wasn't scrappy but when a team scored 30 points and loses by 3 it's safe to say the quality of shot selection was very good, and had both teams tidy'ed up their scrappy parts it would have been a better spectacle

To be fair his linesman let him down

Quote from: Sheedy on July 06, 2025, 05:19:50 PMThat's a harsh red

It's a yellow card offence

and refs have the right to use their judgement

It's not harsh.. slapping someone on the hand is a yellow

He slapped him on the hand that was hold it the hurl so not even close to where the ball was..

He can have no complaints in picking up a yellow

It's a four point wind

I'm guessing Kilkenny will have to come out fast, if they nick a goal it will be tight right through to the end, 36 totals in the first half

Quote from: Milltown Row2 on July 06, 2025, 02:54:57 PMTight call for a penalty at the end, that said he should have fisted it over the bar

Definitely should have fisted it over, v difficult for 17 year olds to have that clarity of thought in those circumstances though

Did an under 16 game recently and the fullforward scored his first 5 points by fisting the ball over the bar, it was very effective and some lads were a bit perplexed as he was doing it but it worked well, it's difficult way to stop it..

This manager needs to sit down in a dark room for a while
