Liverpool don't play bad at home.... Even if this game is a containment game that's ok...

Dunfanaghy all pubs dog friendly, we go three or four times a year and they are super friendly, stayed in Airbnb and it was dog friendly too... Kerry not so much, Newcastle had a few places ..

I've two dogs so I make sure we go somewhere that is dog friendly...England in nearly all pubs are dog friendly

Quote from: statto on March 06, 2025, 09:55:32 AMFirst goal going to be huge in second leg, if Liverpool get it makes things more difficult for PSG to come through if PSG score first could be a very nervy night and wouldn't rule out penalty shootout.  This version of PSG certainly easier to like more than the version with the three galacticos upfront.

Salah won't have a bad game gain, reading the reports he wasn't on form and subbed, can't see him doing that at home

Quote from: tbrick18 on March 06, 2025, 09:35:18 AMI think there was as much high fielding in the league last year as there has been this year.
The Mark was introduced to encourage kicking and catching - are they now admitting that it doesnt work?
Too many rules introduced at the same time with the reasoning not that good in my opinion.
If the main aim of the exercise is to speed up the game, the solo-and-go rule would have been a good first step.
Why didn't they introduce that one rule and see what the impact of that was?

The main difference in the game now, is that it's more chaotic and it games are more likely to have results influenced by weather conditions.

The hooter rule, I thought I liked but actually, I'm coming to realise that not knowing exactly when the game was going to end gave games an air of excitement coming up to the end. So now I'm torn on that one.

It's funny how the hooter is being received, the amount of people complaining about the ref 'adding' time to the game before the hooter and now when it goes, it is a bit flat, think most people will know that teams that can control the ball will run the clock down and more as they can see the time on the screens now at the county grounds

Was out running only seen the last 8 minutes that's how to win a game!

Fair play on the captain chaos not shooting

Think Villa would be happier seeing Liverpool than PSG?

Most stories can turn a bad thing into a positive, spinning it to have a feel good factor

Ive started to listen to them and I get the impression that it's, like let's find a story that pulls at the heart strings more than let's celebrate achievements successes building stuff from grass roots.

Also making injuries into a big topic isn't that bigga thing, also why go for all the county or ex county lads, go to a club each week, get their story, talk to the man that has twenty different jobs on the go, the club players, the history of the club and what it brings to its community it's parish or it's members.

Probably people wouldn't listen if it's Joe bloggs from St Paul's, I know I'd listen but wouldn't probably get that wider audience

Quote from: SaffronSports on March 05, 2025, 02:00:04 PMCould there be grounds for a solo and go from the goalkeeper instead of a kick out?

I know in juvenile football if you score once you can put pressure on the kick outs and keep a team in for a few scores. Once you have attacked, you've either scored or missed a chance to score so maybe the opposition deserve the chance to have possession?

Yes, but a solo a go only after they have scored..

I', not sure why its a problem though for 50/50 chances to win possession. It's on a team to ensure they have the right personnel in place to win back possession or gain possession

I agree that juveniles is going to be a lot harder for those smaller weaker teams but with the ages groups being better defined nowadays in comparison it should have like for like in most teams for height and strength

Quote from: snoopdog on March 05, 2025, 08:07:25 AMBelfasts more expensive than Dublin for a pint. If you ignore that temple bar kip.

Prices in city are a joke. Saying that, nearest pubs to work (American) and house (Red Devil, Beehive, Rock) are all reasonably priced. Greedy fucks in Belfast led by that whining dose Colin Neill are doing long-term damage to their own  businesses by driving people away. Place is like a ghost town Sunday-Thursday after 6pm.

You'll get cheaper pints in O'Dees' Pigeon club in Iveagh street and round in the hospital club in the Royal..
