Even though sarcasm seems to be the order of the day with DownFanatic, it has to be said that amalgamation should be at least considered? Ballykinlar have been in Div 4 for a long time and lets face it, Dundrum aren't going anywhere soon...

I hear mc comiskey is back with Down and there doesn't seem to be much coming through the ranks which may suggest the underage structure in Dundrum is currently abismal. The facilities in Ballykinlar are also supreme in comparison to that of Dundrum.

Views?

Twist much??  ;)

Twist much squared  ;)

here comes 6

Lets cut to the chase..... Is this a wind up or serious.

It is a load of shite. No truth in it whatsoever.

will they keep both pitches up and running?

It would be wise to keep them both - say senior games at one venue, underage at another. Whatever way it would be arranged it would give an amalgamated club good scope of facilities and keep the association alive in both communities.
Plus the Kinlar pitch surface has long been a big asset.

Don't get twisted - my initial post began with a small word that means everything .. "If".

Was my previous post in Dutch? :o
Fierce tame altogether

Was only taking the piss there, that rumour was circulating though. On a serious note, predictions for Div 3 and 4 this year? Has to be Tullylish and Bredagh for me. Heres hopin we stay up.

Your second post went on to talk about venues and logistics AFTER I posted that both teams would be fielding separately in 2012. That was what my comment was in relation to

I'd say between Tullylish, Darragh and Ballymartin, in fact I think this will be the top 3. Bredagh are getting some good results in that Ulster intermediate league. Shocked they didn't go up last year
