classy to put the boot in when lads are down

I don't think that's putting the boot in, it's a fair point.
Very hard to play against this calabre of players when you have no county experience or county level training. To me that was Portlaoise's downfall on many an occasion when they just needed that little bit more to win games but physic and fitness let them down.
Some of the Portarlington lads would benifit hugely from a stint with the county but that's totally up to themselves as it doesn't suit everyone.
Great year for them and hard luck Portarlington...
hours aftrer bein beaten? yah, i'd say theyd love to hear that

I was down in carlow earlier so called in for a look at the Courtwood/Emo v Graigue match. Super match with C/E just eaging it despite being a point down with less than 5mins to play. County Board have a lot to answer for asking lads to play two championship matches in 4 days on heavy pitches  I heard that up to 6 lads had to travel from college twice this week to play despite the other semifinal not being on till next week.  Its going to turn lads off football. Sean Greene standout player for me. Certainly County material
You not an Paulís man?

Was over at the U15 semi final between Na Fianna Og and Mountmellick Parish Gaels over the weekend which Na Fianna Og won by 9 points.

It was my first time at Mountmellick GAA grounds and they have a good set up there with a great clubhouse, second pitch, ball wall etc.

How a town the size of that cannot field their own team is a puzzle to me. They're obviously doing great work there but the lack of underage players should be of huge concern for Laois GAA. They have the schools and the population to be fielding teams.
greater concern is theres bout 7-8 clubs involved in that final. numbers gone to shite that bad in all them clubs?
