Quote from: square_ball on June 21, 2024, 08:26:43 AMThis English lad thats missing in Tenerife and associated facebook group with wild theories and suggestions about how to find him. By all accounts he's a bit of a wrong'un.

Has been convicted being part of a gang/group of boys with machete, golf clubs who beat someone up.

If the government want to see the state of the UK and lack of education just read how adults are suggesting he could be found or helped:

Could be the same person that took Maddie McCann
The search team should look in shaded areas
He could be stuck to a cactus on the mountain
Call his phone as someone may have taken it and charged it up
Use microphone speakers to call out his name
Let off fireworks at night and use bright torches
Throw bottles of water where he was last seen walking

Absolutely mental

It just shows, while very slowly going in the right direction this hell hole will never fully accelerate towards a peaceful prosperous place while there is naked sectarianism in power.

I see plenty of themmuns are happy that Casement wont be hosting the Euros - completely oblivious to the fact that millions & millions have been missed out on for the local economy.

And the funniest thing (if it can be seen as funny) is that Casement will still be built and will still be used for concerts/conferences etc.

What do the knuckle draggers do then when they see the green side of the community prospering

Quote from: Truthsayer on June 04, 2024, 11:15:39 AMHe got it 100% Dare anyone suggest it was doomed to failure got the worst abuse, now everyone has turned on Mickey and is a subject of ridicule, including that Hitler skit...

The only people who seemed to think it was a good idea at the time were the Derry County board and Mickey Harte himself. It was the wrong choice then but I don't think anybody thought it could have got so bad so quickly especially after winning the League title.
There was too much made of the league win... on penalties. He shouldnt have went to Derry ...and left Louth in the lurch tho they have improved vastly since.

Mickey helped get Louth on the right path when he went to them - of that there can be no dount

Quote from: Wildweasel74 on June 02, 2024, 06:15:44 PMDerry bollixed for the year. Am surprised all the issues in Portugal never got outside the county. Not sure if it was showing it on tv, but the Armagh men were taking turns to rattle McFaul from the minute he came on

Have heard the trip mentioned a few times now - what is 'supposedly' meant to have happened?

Quote from: statto on May 22, 2024, 08:02:05 AMAlways good to have a tournament on in the summer for a few weeks.England pre tournament favourites but think they have issues at centre half and left back which will winder their progress.Germans on home soil and France should be difficult to beat.

I looked at that England squad annouced yesterday and I just thought, I dont see the favourites tag here.  Yes they have some very talented players in the likes of Kane, Foden, Bellingham and even Rice but we all know that they will be set up poorly for a start.  Foden has been Pl player of the year playing in the 10. Bellingham has been playing 10 too. What does Southgate do there... foden to the wing or Bellingham back to being an 8.

Their defence looks poor and will struggle against good attacking units. France would surely be ahead of them.

Very interested to see how Germany go.

They wont be far away with that squad.

I dont rate Southgate either but he did get them to a recent final only beat on pens
