Well here we go again. Genuinely have a really good feeling about it this year. Joke to only have 24k in though.

Edit from Mod5 to correct the date, wouldn't want anyone booking a hotel or travel for the wrong weekend.

Well then, it's do or die time once again.

Has there many examples of teams winning an all Ireland football and hurling in the same year? Or even being in both finals, and how longs it been?

Only a week to go and this is a huge test of Galway imo. If they manage to put it up to Kerry in a champo game in Croker I'll start to believe they have what their teams have lacked in the last few years. I think the Super 8s will benefit Galway because they'll get a champo game in Croker that isn't do or die.

Has anyone had to play in one of these yet? Lost a school senior final 1-0 after a draw. Terrible, terrible conditions with the weather. Seems a bit of a crude way to lose.
Thoughts from anyone else who's played in one?

There's appeals protests and all sorts going on trying to get the government to take more and more refugees and I don't me to sound like a cold hearted p***k but they're not our problem, how are we to provide home, shelter etc. There is already an insufficient number of houses and jobs and money... what about the people already on our streets? Should they not be the priority? I understand we have to take a certain amount because of the feckin EU but let that be it

GAA Discussion / Darragh Doherty #13for13
August 25, 2015, 10:36:11 PM
I think it was club 51 who raised but I'm not sure but on the 13th minute the plan is to that everyone would stand up and applaud out of respect for Mayo Minor Footballer Darragh Doherty from Kilmaine who tragically passed away in a car crash near Ballinrobe.

So remember 13th minute, join in
