You really don't unless you have no understanding of the entire judicial system. Judges are bound by Parliament who set maximum sentences and modes of trial. They are further guided by sentencing guidelines made by committees in part appointed by parliament. If Parliament hadn't intended sentences like these for cases like these they would have amended either the legislation or the guidance. They haven't therefore until they do if you have a criticism of the the sentences which you very well may have then the criticism should be levelled at parliament and the electorate. Not the judicial system. The guidelines on cases like this are no jail
