£135 for a ticket, steep

I saw on a German website that tickets for one of their concerts in Germany sold out in 8 minutes.

Think it was £70 in the Aviva less than 10yrs ago. There's inflation, and theirs taking the piss!

Was at it with fees and all it was a little over 80 euro.

For standing tickets this concert including fees €156.75 and then add in the price of Dublin accommodation for a Saturday night.

The Promoters know that an AC/DC Concert will sell out. It's all about Maximising profits. They have taken over from the Tout who used to have the 20% to 50% mark-up.

A couple of years ago Taylor Swift only sold 70% of her concert capacity. Promoters were not bothered as the higher tickets prices more than made up for the shortfall. Touts sold tickets for less than face value.

It's nice for real fans to get the chance to see legends for probably one last time (even if their view is a dot on a Stage or on a big screen).
