Like most of their Ancestors they are born into it. They live in a goldfish bowl. Children are reared by nannies and have a lesser bond with their parents. Their lives are planned and structured, with little room for self expression and self determination. Their social circles are totally based on class and blood relations. Royal etiquette further cuts the corners off their personality.

Since the abdication of Edward 8 and world war two they have been in survival mode. Queen Elizabeth has been strong enough to keep the show on the road, but she is but a figure head at this stage given her age.

The Empire that they once represented is dwindling

They are now no more than Reality TV for the modern cohort.
