Thought i'd post this here in recognition of the difference this man has made to our club, former St.Theresa's and Antrim hurler and footballer Sean McGoldrick.

He goes through to the main BBC Sports Personality Unsung Hero competition in Salford on 22nd December.

Well done Sean. People like that who give so much to clubs that are the cornerstones of the GAA.

You know when a person like that leaves a club its very hard if not impossible to replace them and the affect can be seen on the field quite quickly.
It won't be the next manager but the one after that Meath will become competitive again - MO'D 2016

Square Ball

fantastic acheivment and should be celebrated within the GAA. hope he does well in the final.

This man is an absolute legend and a gentleman. He has shown what can be achieved by intelligence, hard work and passion for the games. He'd be managing the seniors in a championship game on a Sunday and in Owenbeg with the u8's at a blitz on the monday or tuesday. Wouldn't be much talk of mileage I'd say either. GAA to the core.

Compare and contrast with a Mr C. Tevez, currently living near Manchester. We have a habit of knocking the association but we should be proud of it and its members too.
Congratulations to Sean and his club.

Comparisons with Carlos Tevez are in danger of resulting in an updated Godwin's Law.

Saw this last night.  Congrats to Sean, a credit to himself, his family and the GAA.  Glad to see after nearly 30 years away still a good Belfast brogue there!!

I've never met the man, but I congratulate him wholeheartedly!
