IN A number of offices around Dublin and further afield, the main item on the agenda is the upcoming report from the Moriarty tribunal.

Anxious parties waiting to hear what tribunal chairman Mr Justice Michael Moriarty has to say about them don't know when the report will be published, although it could be as early as next week. Mostly likely the parties involved will only find out on the day of publication.

There will be no jail time for anybody so I reckon they brassen it out and hope will have forgotten by the time of any election.

Lowry should be locked up.

He has some neck on him now saying the report (cost €100m) is not based on fact and the report is wrong.

He is a disgrace.

I can't believe our tax is paying his wages.

If he believes that he should sue.

I hope the people of North Tipp are happy with themselves now. I never have, nor never would, give that sleveen any sort of a preference on my ballot.

"But he's done great things for North Tipp". My cordouroy bag. He's done great things for North Tipp so he could keep getting himself elected so he could do better things for himself. But they will not hear a word about him upto now down here.

Nutjob Ben Dunne is on the Joe Duffy show now.

He wants to go to jail for corruption....

He is making it sound like Moriarty is the liar........

Lowry should be shot with a ball of his own shite and there are 14,000 goons in North Tipp that should be eternally ashamed for getting him top of the poll last month as should anyone who voted for him after he was forced to resign in 1995.

The dogs on the street knew what this report was going to say -  in fact from what I have heard it couldn't print everything that was rumoured as the evidence just wasn't strong enough.

Ben Dunne now losing it on Livewhine. He claims insanity from drug use at the time! What's his excuse now?

This could expose the State to a huge compensation case from the losers in the original licence auction and I hope that cnut Lowry is a co-defendent if this happens.

Well said. Did you see the b**tard on prime time a couple of weeks back pointing out sections of the field down in tipp where the racecourse was going to be and promoting his casino.

p.s. People should vote with their feet now and pull the plug on that Nutter Dunne and ditch his gyms. Leave him high and dry.

The newly published report states that it is 'beyond doubt' that Michael Lowry imparted substantive information to Denis O'Brien which was 'of significant value and assistance to him in securing the licence'.

The report makes reference to Mr O'Brien's companies contributing £22,140 in donations to Fine Gael between 1995 and 1996.

The 'conspicuous support' of Fine Gael fundraising events in early 1995 'succeeded' in raising the his company profile to an appreciable degree which was 'not remotely matched' by members of other bidding consortiums.

Great litle country we have. Of course wasn't the bould Denis one of the 17 signatories to the plan to get us out of our mess  >:( >:(

He really is a disgrace to Irish politics, its very hard to get this feckers out once they are in. I'm not sure what authority the Dáil has to remove him, anybody know?
Time to take a more chill-pill approach to life.
