Good half indeed. Scotland not great but Ireland playing well. Lovely pass from Obafemi and finish from Parrot for the second goal.

Fans voting with their feet today against Croke Park with rising fuel and accom costs and inflation.

Sad to witness a virtually empty Croke Park for a last 12 championship double header. GAA HQ need to get their act together, no respect for supporters and getting their response today.
Might have a few more turn up for Mayo Kildare. Roscommon vs Clare was never gonna draw a crowd really, no one outside of the two counties involved will care about the game.

Real end of season vibes to the game I thought. Ireland were poor but are better than that.
Still in all a very poor result.

Why is it that Derry,Tyrone,Armagh,Fermanagh,Antrim,Down, Monaghan,Cavan and Donegal  can't get their arse in gear in terms of putting up a challenge to the hegemony of Kilkenny and Limerick  in Leinster and Munster?

Discuss.

That can't be right?

These things are nonsense, nobody knows how much they earn. It's all guesswork
Mad that people actually believe this sort of stuff.

QuoteEach of these counties has a population greater than Monaghan and Roscommon, who more than hold their own within their province and nationally.
;D
Yeah Monaghan and Roscommon would really be putting it up to Dublin every year if they played in Leinster  ;D ;D ;D

Apathy towards GAA? Surely you mean apathy towards Gaelic Football which even itself is a stupid thing to say.
If Dublin were in Ulster or Connacht they would be winning those provinces almost every year also.

Quarter finals

Saturday

Offaly v New York at 2pm in O'Connor Park.

Sunday

Carlow v Westmeath  in Cullen Park at 2pm
Leitrim v Sligo  in Carrick on Shannon at 3pm
Fermanagh v Cavan  in Brewster Park at 4pm

Leitrim v Sligo and Offaly v New York the games chosen for live GAAGO coverage.

Fermanagh v Cavan would be more exciting than Offaly and flamin' NY.
Offaly vs NY will probably still be a better game than any of the Provincial Finals that were on last weekend ffs.

Hasn't been a bad start to the tournament to be fair.
Carlow winning was great see, by all accounts the Westmeath Laois game was a cracker yesterday also.
Leitrim winning was also great.
We have New York next.

McKenna needs help imo. He couldn't be well with some of the stuff he posts.

Just saw Top Gun. Fantastic. Makes the original look pretty rubbish.
The original could never be made look rubbish!
Looking forward to watching the sequel though.
