Quote from: Sonny Joe on October 06, 2023, 09:44:21 AMI have ben thinking about this as I don't like them either, and I have come to the conclusion its simply down to the tone of their voice rather than ability. First of all I had to unpick the whole think to reassure myself I wasn't being discriminatory. so comfortably in the knowledge that its purely a hearing thing, been used to male commentators in football our whole lives and I guess thats part of it as well. Its almost like a trailor for a horror movie, you get the male with the deep rustic voice trying to capture your interest so you will go to the cinema to see it. I just couldn't imagine a female voice over. Anyway is it just me and Keegan  ;D
I agree with you 👍

Maybe, or you could see the second season syndrome, where there's bigger expectations and more pressure. Without a bigger win, there'll always be that pressure to show improvements.
We had posters on here calling Klopp a flop in his first couple of seasons. But Liverpool fans could see the change that was happening within the team. Then the performances started to follow, and then the silverware. Which is why all Liverpool fans are happy to stick with Klopp as he has those trophies in the bank now. And it had been a long wait.
I think there's definite potential there with EtH. And he seems to be having a good impact on existing players similar to Klopp. Shows he's a good coach.

Yeah that one PL title is going to keep them going for another while yet  ::)

United be happy with one now me thinks!!
If Man United win in the next 5 years what Liverpool have won in the past 5 years I'm sure they will be very happy.
One league and one UCL.
For all the hype, it's not a massive haul for Klopp's 8 seasons in charge.
He took over a team that were one slip from winning the league a year earlier.
True. But they were unlucky coming up against the City machine. Look at the points totals for those seasons in 2nd place. Huge difference from the previous yo-yo years.
The next one will be hard won as well given the money other clubs are spending as United know as well.

Utd dominated against Chelsea and Arsenal.
And when one season wonders Loserpool with the Spanish waiter and Slippy G did manage a half arsed challenge they put them away as well.
Are you ok? Seriously, do you need help in some way? Were you hurt as a child and never recovered or what is it that is wrong with you?

Saw a clip recently of this Sam Smith fella being interviewed, apparently he likes fishing and interviewer asked would he like to be a Fisherman. Yer man Smith replies yeah I would love to be a Fisherthem. 😂
FFS what a load of nonsense that he can't even say Fisherman and used Fisherthem instead.
World is fucked.

Said ages ago Arsenal would shit the bed, just a pity United didn't hold on for a win vs Palace and a draw against Arsenal there recently we'd be sitting lovely. It's City's to lose now, I don't think United have the squad to push hard in 4 competitions however a huge slice of luck with fitness and you never know.
So if Man United had won the games they didn't win they would be in a better position than they are...
Pretty sure every club could say that buddy  ;D

Bajcetic is so good, hard to believe he is only 18. He's going to be a top class player.

Nunez did brilliant there for that goal.

With Arsenal dropping points yesterday that puts Man United back in the title race.

What's sad is there will be people applauding him for wearing such shite saying how brave he is or some nonsense like that.
