Derry wans loving Harte! Selfies galore. A fickle bunch.

Meanwhile the man that half the county couldn't wait to get rid of is back in yet another Quarter final.

End of the current managerial reign?

Quote from: thebigfullforward on Today at 05:46:35 PMTalk on here earlier about Darragh being too selfish and needing to pass more. Going off that he should be allowed to shoot whenever he gets the ball. Don't understand the game plan at all and haven't for 2 years now. Giving the ball the Canavan and expecting him to beat 3/4 men every time?

Don't forget throwing on a tall sub at 60mins to stand in the square.

It was in my script.

Quote from: Goals_Will_Come on June 20, 2024, 10:27:44 AMEglish doing Galbally dirty next week by not agreeing to a change of fixture to suit a Galbally wedding overseas. Not sure the ins and outs of the communication with the CCC at the start of the year regarding sending in dates for special consideration but either way bad form on Eglish's part.

Did Fintona do something similar to Cookstown this week?

Correct. weeks ago Cookstown thought this 'club event' was to be the weekend of the Kildress fixture and Kildress where agreeable to move it for them - so was a tough bite for them.

Is it? I dunno, there is almost certainly going to be a club fixture this weekend, that would be known in advance.

Quote from: Armagh18 on June 21, 2024, 04:52:24 PMCan he not just be a sc**bag without being left or right wing?

No. Everything must be politicised all of the time.

Quote from: An Watcher on June 19, 2024, 09:02:59 PMI don't remember a Tyrone Championship season going as dull in all my life.  No buzz or excitement.  Team going nowhere.  Almost wish we get knocked out on Sat to avoid being embarrassed by Dublin or Kerry the following week.

Attendances have been absolutely shocking. Look at the Clare game last week. Embarrassing for a top tier County. Having said that, I wasn't there myself...

Club games look to be getting alot of punters though. Tyrone is still football mad.

Quote from: Rebel84 on June 18, 2024, 08:42:59 AMThink Derry have a chance as I can recall in recent times that Mayo were fortunate enough to beat Derry and Armagh in knockout at Castlebar.

Yes but in even more recent times Derry have been beyond crap and Mayo have been putting it up to Dublin.

Quote from: Milltown Row2 on June 16, 2024, 11:43:29 PMSo Bryson went in with a lead to final round but Rory bottled it?

Not sure how it works

Because Rory had a lead with 5 holes to go (NOT 18), and missed 2 very short putts to give the tournament to Bryson.
Happy to help.

Argentina lost to Saudi Arabia and won the World Cup.
England will be fine.
