Believe it or not, that was my first time in Healy Park.

Armagh could have won that match. Two great goal chances and about 12 or 13 wides.

We need a couple more quality players. At the moment, Division 2 and the lower level of the Sam Maguire looks like our level.

How many Tyrone lads have left the panel in the past few weeks??

In golfing parlance, that's "Fore left!!!"

IMO had Tyrone kept 15 men on the field they would have beaten Galway…that defeat does put some added pressure onto Tyrone but unfortunately I can’t see us beating them. We are too busy setting up our team to nullify the opposition instead of going for it and let the opposition worry about us🤷‍♂️. It probably will be a tight game as Armagh will play that defensive crap 🤦‍♂️ again which Tyrone will struggle to score but ultimately they’ll get enough to beat us anyway but because it’ll be a close defeat it won’t look so bad. If only Armagh could just take the shackles off and go for it and if we lose we lose but at least we gave it a go.
So we’ll lose on Saturday, Galway will beat us in two weeks time and we’ll scrape thru and get a tough away game to Kerry for one last go and probably lose in Kerry by 1-2 points but put in a great effort 😂😂😂. Does that sound like an Armagh championship season🤷‍♂️.

Quit your jibba jabbing fool, lol

I thought i would get the juices going my starting a new thread.

Predictions? I am going for a tight game with armagh to bounce back after 2 disappointing results to knick it by 2.

Emmm, I thought the mods wanted all Group 2 games to be in the Group 2 thread, lol.

Ah sure anyway, Tyrone by 5 ffs.

This Ulster Final hang-over thingy.

So when Nugent was shooting for a point, mid-kick he thought "ah the Ulster Final" and then kicked it into the keeper's hand?

Near the end of the game, as Rafferty was kicking the ball out he thought "ah the Ulster Final" and kicked it into the hands of a Westmeath player?

Hmmm, not sure.

Will tickets be on sale tomorrow for Tyrone v Armagh?

Will they all be available online?

Armagh kick-outs were awful. Westmeath always seemed to be able to a free man for the kick-out. Why do Armagh outfield players not do more to become free?

Imagine for a moment that you're invited out for a few beers with the commentators:
  • John Campbell
  • Ben Lowery
  • Sam McBride
Who would crack the most jokes?

Did some bigwig get a tour of the Athletic Grounds today?

Two teenagers killed in a car crash leads to a riot on a Cardiff street. A rumor started that the crash may have involved a police chase. Police attacked along with a member of the public who was suspected of being undercover cop. Wtf is going on here? Anything more than bored teenagers looking for an excuse for trouble, aided by social media rumor mill?

Depending on your perspective, the two boys are either lovable rogues cruelly killed by the cops or bad 'uns who terrorised the neighbourhood.

Did you just fart Jeffrey?

Hard to read much into that. Conditions seemed brutal. Tyrone had a good goal chance early on and at 15v15 both sides looked even enough, Galway slightly the better side.

Fair call on the red. Gough can be hard to read at times. When you think he has a vendetta against you, he can give you a series of easy ones.

Exactly. Gough is a decent ref.

Nationalist  vote share around 42 %. It hasn't really changed in 25 yrs something Ellis O Hanlon had great pleasure in pointing out. What the bitter cretin didn't point out was that the Unionist vote over 25yrs has dropped by nearly 20% to 38%. It's also fair to say that the Alliance party is now a lot more 'green' as reflected in their transfer patterns. I still find it odd though and plenty seem guilty of it on this site that a nationalist would pick Alliance over SDLP - wtf. Anyway the Alliance can't keep spoofing for much longer as they will need something of more substance on a border poll rather than just wishing it away.

O’Hanlon is a disgrace to the ancient Irish clan name. Incredible amount of hate from her.

RDE is quiet these days. Is she sick?

Not near enough ladies toilets for the eastern stand. Some were contemplating using the gents.

Some did

Seen a few posts on Derry fans. Can I just say that those around me were friendly, passionate, knowledgable and gracious in victory. Good people

I concur. All very gracious in victory, and while I was gutted, I was just pleased to have witnessed such a great game.

Has a formal complaint been made against RG to the police?

If not, is there an onus on the police to investigate anyway?

RG may have a case to answer, and I have zero sympathy for bullies and women beaters, but it would seem his managerial career is over. Has he a job outside of the GAA?
