BBC3 had 1 hour of 'football bloopers' tonight, and that was one of the incidents on it. Quite a good show actually with some stuff I never seen before.
There was one where a keeper collected a throw ball, and the striker brushed against him in the follow up.
Keeper kicks out slightly as ref comes on scene. Keeper looks at ref fearing penalty. Ref standing about 5 yards outside box signals to play on, and motions the keeper. Keeper things he is being summonsed and walks out of area with ball.
Ref blows for free kick on edge of box. Keeper realises his error...and panics. Hands ball to the striker he had previously kicked. Striker places ball...passes to coleague...empty net....goal.
Trust me...it's much funnier than I described!
