General discussion / Re: European Leagues.

PSG are a belter of a team. Be funny to see them win this without mbappe. Hard to see them not winning it the way they're playing.

I do think that was a penalty. Foot was caught before the defender touched the ball.

Going to be a long ninety minutes for arsenal this. This is their home game too.

I think Louth might drop off next year or two - not sure Brennan same level of coach as Harte.

I dunno about top four for Meath but you definitely should be knocking round division 1 and quarter finals / semi finals depending on draw. Definitely some decent underage teams. Great to see you beat the Dubs.

Patrice Evra making his MMA debut.

Meath and Louth be very interesting. I could be wrong but doubt it's a given Meath will win that. I don't think Louth are as good as other years but you wonder could they win Leinster - I have a sneaky feeling they might. If they did it might take Meath a bit to recover (and themselves).

Antrim / Re: Belfast GAA is dying...

I now live in belfast vs growing up in the country and the culture difference is just huge. Where I live now you could be 1 of 3 clubs. My kid has access to basketball, soccer you name it on top of the GAA. The GAA is something we do 2 or so hours a week of and then move on to other sports. You live in the country and go to local shops all that will be talked about is GAA matches etc - it's what will bond people together. The city doesn't have that. If I go to tescos or somewhere like that there'll barely be a person interested. It's just hugely different. (This is not west mind you but I don't know how different that would be)

Not to mention the bloody sunday soldier(s) she flew over to deliberately antagonise people. Odious with zero credibility.

Quote from: imtommygunn on April 28, 2025, 02:40:17 PMHow many different managers have Liverpool won the league with?

I mind reading back here and someone more or less said if you take the Fergie era out that Man United haven't won that much so hard to understand why they're perceived such a big team. If you look at it Fergie won 13 and Busby 5 then there's 2 more from well over a century ago.

Liverpool have had Klopp, Dalglish, Paisley, Shankly and I'm sure a few others.

I am far from a Liverpool fan btw.
So Kerry can't be considered a big county because they won so many titles under Micko, same for Dublin under Gavin, Limerick under Kiely.
 ;D  ;D  ;D

That's not what I said at all and you are talking about completely different games here...

Before Fergie United on 8 what 7 titles were a "big club" but other clubs who arguable won more weren't. That would kind of be my point.

Anyway it doesn't really matter...

It is a witch hunt but that's how it works when you're this critical this publicly. It doesn't make them wrong
 - it just means they are put in a position where they will be discredited repeatedly publicly to try and shut down their argument. No one is justifying that but that is the way the world works these days sadly.

I don't think Kildare would be bankers to win it this year at all.

Are Westmeath in it? If Offaly are in it they'll give anyone their fill of it assuming they keep their players at it.

Cheering on Hamas and Hezbollah (who killed Sean Rooney). Calling for MPs to be killed
That's really going to help.

Sean Rooney's killing was a terrible deed. Is many awful acts carried out by these groupings.
Israel and the US has committed mass atrocities for decades. Armed groups are going to appear in the face of an imperialist onslaught, often on a population of innocent civilians. IRA was same here.. who were the terrorists though?
Did Kneecap call for killing of Tory MPs? Stupid if true although in the euphoria of a gig, I doubt they meant it literally.

Irrelevant if they said it. They've now put themselves out there to be got at which they probably will be unfortunately.
