Armagh for Sam is the talk all around Scarva apparently!

They tend to get a bit overexcited ahead of the new GAA season down in Scarva, so they do.

Soupy definitely getting carried away with the 'scary' comments. There is the makings of a decent forward line there, just need to find at least one midfielder and about 4 defenders and we might have a chance of challenging for promotion from division 2. Realistically Armagh could be a top 12 side and with a decent draw could make top 8. That's about it though, there is a massive gap to bridge to the top tier after that.

Was surprised with McGeeney saying that he wouldn't be judging the season on the Ulster championship. He mightn't but a lot of supporters will because it's the only realistic route to success for Armagh this summer and even still it's a very long shot. McGeeney's teams seem to excel in the back door because they are fit, organised and generally don't lose many players after exiting the provincials. Sometimes it also helps to get beat in the first round so that you can build up some momentum.

Aaron Boone

McGeeney would have numerous job offers every winter, so it's s testament to his loyalty that he has stayed with Armagh to finish the job.
