Seriously, she can't be that stupid, she obviously seen the video with Kyle Laff, and the singing at the Wolf Tones and knew who Foster is, so she know the kick back from that. Doesn't look so smart now.

This - unless she was hiding under a rock for the last year.
She's been named and shamed. I've no sympathy tbh.

It highlights a wider problem in society were this glorification of terrorism is being normalised on both sides. People are right to be upset and to call this out wherever it happens. Imagine if it was a Nazi salute or maybe glorification of ISIS.

That wee girl isn't even old enough to remember the troubles. Sad that this is were society is at.

Yesterday, the Committee on the Administration of Justice (CAJ) released it's latest report which found that housing threats and racist attacks are widespread in areas under loyalist paramilitary control.

That's just a few weeks on from loyalists threatening to end their 1994 ceasefire and a issuing specific threat against any southern politician who crosses the border.

So it's definitely a good job so many people are determined to focus on the latest 'somebody said up the ra' scandal.
Focusing on the important issues as usual lol

Has RTE news been running with that and asking politicians to seek assurances from the unionist and loyalists politicians that they will be safe when traveling to the north?

Loyalists are racist so it's ok to shout republican paramilitary slogans at people. Gotcha!

Seriously, put the whataboutery in the bin. The only reason it's still being discussed is because there are ones here trying to defend it.

What's the difference? They all killed people to further their political aims. What am I missing?

So did the British Army. They killed/colluded in killing hundreds of innocent people here to further British political aims. Are they also "terrorists" who are akin to nazis and Isis?

Whataboutery? You just brought up Isis and Nazis FFS lol. If it's ok to discuss them, then it's surely within the terms of reference to be allowed mention the British army, given our recent history? Especially when I'm merely trying to get you to answer a question that I've tried before to get you to answer. You're on record as defining a terrorist group as one that:
Quote from: trailer on August 15, 2022, 02:11:09 PM
uses unlawful violence and intimidation, especially against civilians, in the pursuit of political aims.
So, it's a straightforward question: Were the British Army also terrorists?

Answered this many times before. Asking the same question won't get a different answer.

Well you have absolutely no problem in repeating (over and over again) your claim that the IRA were terrorists and no different to ISIS, so forgive me for asking you to repeat your answer to my question as to whether you would regard the British Army as terrorists because I don't recall/can't find where you have answered it at all. In fact, the last time this discussion came up, you dodged the question for several pages and then your last comment was to merely state that the British Army doesn't regard itself as a terrorist group.

Quote from: trailer on August 17, 2022, 02:45:35 PM
The British Army would say that they had the legitimacy from their government and of course that government was democratically elected so that would not make them a terrorist organisation per se. Whether you or I like it, they view the six counties as British. Did they commit awful crimes against the population here? Absolutely. Did they commit war crimes? Absolutely. Will they ever face justice? Not a chance and the exact same goes for the IRA.

I think it's fair to say I wasn't asking you what the British army's opinion on the question is. Rather I was (and still am) asking for your own opinion. Do you regard the British Army as terrorists given your own definition of a terrorist group as being one that "uses unlawful violence and intimidation, especially against civilians, in the pursuit of political aims."?
