Comment: Positive thoughtful and factual articulation from Archer the anchorman.  Always a smattering of old school understatement and humiliity about his pennings - a journalist who just needs to "show for the ball" more often.  He looks primed for perhaps his biggest season yet - a worthy darkhorse.  

I was, thought we should have had the game over after 20 minutes, and a couple of defnsive errors cost us dearly in the second.  Ardboe were very tenacious when they got going and played at great intensity and speed.  Coney and Mc Guigan are class up front and MC Conville and Hughes had a great batlle over the hour in midfield.  I think both teams have the ability to make life difficult on their day for anyone but they are a mile away from Dromore and possibly Carmen at the moment.  Donaghmore will be doing well to stay out of the bottom 5 despite their potential.   

Credit where credits due, the fixtures guys are showing a bit of brainpower this year and getting through their fixtures.  Credit where credit is due

I have to agree with O neill, and Ill tell the rest of yes something, Tyrone Armagh was soft compared to tyrone Derry, always hard and unfair.

Hayes is surely only doing it to counteract the pro kerry drivel dished up by Spillane for some years. You have to question what motivates him to write this.  If in time it gets Pat Spillane to shut up or at least he monitors what he says then the counter - wally policy will have worked.  I am fully behind Hayes as he dishes it back to the Kerry men in spades.  Well done my Meath Friend!!!

General comment:
A lazy yet readable preseason not firing on all cylinders - at best a page filler.  This is Paddys way of saying Help ..Throw the ball in -  Im running out of material.

Bullshit Marty,  Gooch is still a class act but theres a better class of defender marking him in the big games, whether it be Mc Menamen, Mc Guckin, they can handle him fairly well but he can still inflict pain as can they.  Its easy to look fine against Mayo Cork or Dublin backs, tough against more disciplined tighter markers though.
