U-12 Team banned for 5 years!

Anyone listening to this on 2FM? Team been banned for 5 years for abuse towards referee from supporters after an u12 soccer final. Seems a bit mental! Ones one saying here there was no abuse at all etc, especialy not to warrant such a ban. u12 like!! Everyone in the town has been banned from community games for 5 years even if they weren't even involved in this game!
