Time for Kyle Coney and Niall mc kenna to enter the fray.
and Squad members like Aidan Cassidy and Sean O'Neill to be broken into the side who both came on and were the positives in a lack luster performance today, although in the aftermath we can over-react all little by this defeat i dont think its as bad as people are saying wer still one of the top 3 teams in Ireland. maybe on another day another ref things coulda been different

Kyle has great talent and could possibly go on to become a Tyrone star but at the moment he is well of that level, between the Oz experiment and injury he has played very little football this year. At present from an Ardboe perspective Gavin Teague would be a much better candidate to bring into the Tyrone squad over the coming years he has been consistenly very, very good this season.

no reason why kyle coney can't step up next year. He outshone O'shea of mayo in the minor final replay last year & look at the impact of o'shea this year.

Well atleast Sean Cavanagh got his day out in the sun, like we did.............................

sunday game pundits havent a clue so im glad they said that.in the past that colm orourke jerk said that if tyrone won an all ireland with Brian dooher playing he'd eat his hat that galvanised the man.also 2 mondays ago pat spillane reckoned that kerrys spluttering will finally be put to the sword by dublin(again left looking very silly looking)people dont wanna be too critical of sean cavanagh hes been probably one of our best players the past 5r6 seasons.some people have short memories this is the man that has tuened his back on the $$$$ that was threw at him to change codes and go to play football in oz.
its just the way the public are people can be over critical in defeat fair enough we have a few players coming to the end of their careers with tyrone but its nat as bad as people think and the best man to oversee the over haul is mickey harte.people writ tyrone off all over the board when peter canavan retired said tyrone were one trick ponies?u dont win an all ireland with one good player it was shown in 1995!
the players are in tyrone its just a matter of them stepping up to the plate now.
also may i add if it is to be brian doohers last game in tyrone jersey disappointing way to go out but will probably go down as one of the greatest footballers that ever wore the red hand jersey.he owes fcuk all to tyrone after the great years of service he has gave them and his point against kerry in 08 final will go down as the greatest point ever scored in an All Ireland final.man is a legend

Just watched The Sunday Game and we were definitely as bad as people are saying. Thought the Ref was bad but no way did he cost us the game - we just couldn't cope with Cork's speed and strength. Unfortunately.

Disappointing testerday, but we'll just have to rebuild again, with surely a few retirements thsi year.
dooher will probably call it a day and maybe even jordan (who was rumoured to have wanted to retire a year ago before mickey got him back)and then maybe fellas like Holmes, mc cullagh and maybe an odd squad player who isnt getting much football.talk of gormley being done is a touch premature.
sean oneill and aidan cassidy in the squad at the minute look like they can step up, but not many others.
not much else outthere in the county calling out for inclusion apart from amybe some of the successfull minors, coney, mckenna, teague, harte matty donnelly, although its prob too early yet for all of them.

Heres my take:

'Big' players that could go:
Dooher
Jordan

Squad players that could opt out:
Raymond Mulgrew
Dermot Carlin
Collie Holmes
Mickey McGee

Will stay around for another while to see if they can make the cut:
Niall Gormley
Martin Swift

These boys owe us nothing, great effort by most yesterday but thought a bad day at the office for Micky.  If a player is fit to play, he is fit to start, handed Cork a big psychological advantage by not starting Sean, Canty must have thought it was Xmas.  Also the 'untouchable' wing half backs were getting roasted but young O'Neill was kept on line until middle of second half. Every man and his dog knows Tyrone's weak point is to make Davey defend as its not the strongest part of his game and Cork took advantage of this from the start. Also, it was clear to see Dooher was not at the races but again the switch was left too long.

Anyway, a great relief for the club players who can now get on with playing with a full team without King Micky interfering.

Ronan Mc Nabb last year's minor captain should also be considered to make the step up to senior inter-county level next season

I would say there will be a number of new faces in the McKenna cup squad anyway to see can they cut the mustard. Do we want to have guesses of who are is that too hoganstandy?

Danny McBride from Strabane could be a suprise inclusion. Very physical player. Was a county under 21 last year.
