Thats wat i heard,he meant to know his stuff?? Even tho results wouldnt back that up but he workin with an average bunch! How many points will it take to stay safe this year??

Will prob take 13 to be safe in Division 2. Can anyone post the table.
Its bottom straight down and then next four in a playoff I think.
bottom straight down alright but only next 2 in a playoff, loser going down, winner playing team coming up in a playoff

Dromore 0.15 , Trillick 0.6 , in the all county league this afternoon in Trillick.

Was anyone at this game?  What happened to Trillick, thought they would be too strong for Dromore given their good home record and Dromore not going well in league?

Dromore really produced a convincing performance today in poor conditions with a great display despite missing first team regulars Micky Garry and Shane McMahon. Dromore dominated throughout and only for a mass of wides during the course of the game should have won by twice as much against a Trillick team who had no reply to Dromore's performance today.
thought it was a poor enough game to be honest, but very deficult conditions to be fair.
dromore by far the better team, although they still look to be lacking a bit upfront IMO.
red sean, ronan mcnabb & emet oneill excelent for dromore.
good battle between cathal maccarron &matty donnolly, prob won by mccarron although donnolly got 2 great points of him from play

7 million of and outlay isnt enough for a club that expects to push on and win the premier league

It isn't even 7 million of an outlay. Liverpool also sold Arbeloa and Leto for a combined total of 7 million and much of the fee spent on Johnson was already owed to Liverpool from the sale of Crouch to Portsmouth.
actually forgot about those two.
How can a club make noises about winning he PL when they finished second last year and ae are weaker outfit this year.
without spending money, there is now way they are going to improve, particularly with the sale of one of their top players.
another frustrating season ahead i'm afraid ???

Have Liverpool really got no money left for transfers?
I think if the squad stays the way it is, they are going to struggle this year.
with tuncay going to stoke for 5million and distin to everton today for not that much money, you would thik either of these players would have strenthened the squad for not much outlay.
Another decent midfeilder is badly needed aswell.
30milion taken in over the summer from Alonsos sale and 20million &17million spent on Aqualaini & Johson.
7 million of and outlay isnt enough for a club that expects to push on and win the premier league

Got The Wrestler out last night. Very average imo and not worthy of the hype. E2 for all dvds in Chartbusters if anyone is interested.

Agreed. O'Rourke gives a good performance thou and I think this is where most of the 'hype' comes from not the actual story line.

I have 50 Dead Men Walking booked for this weekend, have heard mixed reports.
thought the wrestler was a great film

One of the biggest problems in our games now is the guy who winds up an opponent by verbal shit talking and sly digs hoping his opponent lashes out so he can hit the ground as if blindsided by Tyson. It is a plague on our games and should be stamped out, the correct action from Bannon should have been to book both of them, one for a minor strike and one for play acting. The problem is, as this thread highlights, is that when one of our own (insert whatever your own county is) does it most people never accept their own players liability and instead become over night experts on the rule book and quote precedents that suit them but ignore ones that don't.

Nobody wants to see lads getting their jaw broken off the ball but neither do we want to see lads holding their faces and doctors 'checking them' for injury when everyone knows there was minimal contact.

what exactly is a minor strike? (Q the Arthur Scargel jokes)
what Miskella did ,w as a red card offense, end of story.
I agree with you that alot of these incidents are started with verbal provocation but unless the referee actually hears it, what can he do?

I would have my gripes with the Tyrone CCC, but it's a very difficult job with no easy answers. To be honest I think this year they've done very well with fixtures etc. and a sub note their info flow with fixtures, results, tables, website is excellent. You'll have most of the ACL results withing 30 minutes of the full time whistle.

Even aertel can't do that.

agree with you there norf, definatly has been a shambles in the past but, whilst far from perfect, a far better job has been done this year

So punching someone in the face is just a booking offence in gaelic football these days??

It was neither a punch nor was it in the face.  ::)
it was a sending off no matter what way you dress it up ::)

Barcelona is a great city, the bus tour is a good way to see the sights.
as for eating, try a little restaurant called 'la fonda' class place and not that expensive, not sure what street its on, one of the small ones off les ramblas. well worth seeking out.

According to Hoganstand no further action to be taken. Bannon reviewed incident and felt he correctly dealt with it at time.

Complete farce in my opinion. The evidence at hand is that he struck his opponent with a raised hand. Any day of the week in my experience thats a red card regardless of force used.

Its All-Ireland final, so lets go handy.

Bullshit. Would like to here his explanation why it is only a yellow card.

The GAA disciplinary system has been a joke this year.

completely agree Bingo
