I was looking at Roscommon the other day

Some teams win whatever the decade. Some got organised 40 or 50 years ago. Some stopped in the 40s.

Tarmon and St Patrick's had the 40s sown up! Then stopped by the looks of it.

Bellaghy lead the way with 21, they won 14 titles between '56 and '79. Then won another 6 between 1994 and 2005.  With one random one in '86. They've only appeared in one final since 2005.

Ballinderry won 8 titles between 1995 + 2013 to leap frog Newbridge  and are in 2nd with 13 titles.

Newbridge won 9 titles by 1970 and have only added one since.

Slaughtneil won all 6 of their titles this century.

Glen have back to back titles now, winning their first ever senior championship last year.

Those Clubs supplied a large number of our double AI winning teams of 43/44.
Tarmon became part of Castlerea St Kevin's while St Pats became part of St Dominics.
Elphin really fell off the title ladder since the great days of the 50s.

Elphin must have been ahead until relatively recently. The Athlone side clubs only got going in 1953

The Johnnies (St Johns) have the most in Antrim, have an Ulster and were beat in Club final by a college team that had Pat Spillane on it along with a few other stars
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought. Ea

Yes, Spillane always bitches that Thomond College got no support from Limerick County Board. He could not understand how they did not take to a group of blow ins representing their county.  ;D

Ehmmm gonna hazard a guess at Cross by a fair bit, although Clann Na Gael and Armagh Harps have won a fair few between them.

Think Paul Hearty has something like 20 of those for Cross and Aaron Kernan won his 17th last week. Armagh Young Irelands were the Harps as far as I know.

Don't think I've heard of them before but presumably Carrickcruppen or Shane O'Neills

pbat

I remember Geraldines playing in the late 80s, were sort of a Carrickcruppen second team but run as a separate club if im not mistaken. I would guess folded early 90s.

I used to be indecisive but now I'm not too sure.
