On the Rashford loan deal it includes buy option clause of £40m.

Evan Ferguson close to signing for West ham a good move for him?
Great news. Hopefully he can put an effort in for a while and they keep him permanently.

Totally agree.

Quote from: BigGreenField on January 22, 2025, 12:00:05 AMQuite a lot of studies that we stop seeking out new music in late 20's https://scholarlykitchen.sspnet.org/2024/05/03/music-paralysis-as-we-age/#:~:text=Other%20studies%20suggest%20that%20music,than%20it%20does%20for%20adolescents. Think Phillip ball wrote a book on it or a chapter in a book anyway.

My own take is that while streaming music algorithms will bring up some new stuff that I give a blast on, it needs to be really good as otherwise I will actively seek out material I already know.

Anyway if new topic is needed add John Prine, Guy Clark or Tom Russell to the list.

Worrabout a bit of Country.

Great band on record but has anyone heard them live?

Always liked The Last Resort.

The tribute band, Take It To The Limit, who're pretty good in fairness, are doing a few non-Dublin tour dates over the next few months - worth catching them if you're a fan.

Not a huge fan by any means but I do like their records.
It's just I've been told by a lot of fans don't bother going to see them live as you may as well just listen to them in the house. They sound the same.

Quote from: Newbridge Exile on October 10, 2024, 07:56:41 AMFinished Slow Horses season 4 last night , excellent again , hope it's not to long before Season 5 is released

Another quality season in my opinion and for me it went back up a notch compared to the previous one. I like the way it's only 6 episodes and never seems to have too much padding.

Lamb is one of the great TV characters.

First 3 seasons very good, 4 was absolutely rubbish. While Lamb is a brilliant character, there's so many awful characters.

I agree with the Viler.

Southgate will be in, possibly  as caretaker until the end of the season.

In reality, who else is out  there? Or who out there would  touch it?

Unai Emery.  ;)

Now now, is that wishful thinking from a bluenose  ;D

Reality is that Emery wouldn't change for that Utd setup IMO. I know all the bigger club blah blah blah etc, but Emery has been given free rein at Villa. He has a say in everything. He has his men in place from top to bottom. He's had the PSG/arsenal experience before and I'm not sure he'd swap for Utd at this moment.

Indeed.  ;D
