I agree about Derry but I could see Donegal effectively downing tools. If they do Tyrone should beat them which might mean Tyrone v Dublin could be a relegation decider. So no real mad results needed.
Think a team on 7 points could go down

Antrim / Re: Antrim Football Thread

Reality is Antrim are entitled to stand their ground
As an Armagh fan happy to forfeit my ticket , indeed not sure if we are entitled to one simply are entitled to purchase one .

Quote from: Smokin Joe on March 03, 2025, 11:06:12 AMIt is the inconsistency with the "flexibility" that is very frustrating.

In earlier games some linesmen were allowing teams to "cross over", ie if a team had 3 men back and 1 crossed forward, but half a second later he was replaced by a teammate that wasn't given as a breach.

But in the Armagh v Dublin game on Saturday night at 64:15 on the RTE clock Kilkenny was pinged for a breach of the 3up rule even though he was replaced by a teammate in a fraction of a second.
thought dublin harshly penalised once when the forward was coming to get a pass and went across the line by a few metres.Definitely thought referee was a homer om saturday night with the amount of 50/50s going armagh way.

Why so? Lost a league game minus 8/9 first teamers against a very strong Donegal side who will take all the stopping in the summer.

General discussion / Re: British State Collusion
February 07, 2025, 08:29:57 AM
Quote from: Wildweasel74 on February 06, 2025, 08:18:54 PMHere's my confusion. Martin McGuiness used to say it was a war. And if those men could been arrested and not shot it be a war crime? How's that work the other way round? Would the Ira not have shot them as it was a supposed war? The 2 soldiers that day of the funerals in Belfast. Took alive then shot, do we not class that was a war crime? What am trying to said you can't say 1 outfit committing war crimes and then the other one not, as it doesn't suit us. There a show on tv  about ww2 at the minute and Hitler instruction was take no prisoners.Where do we draw the difference?
In the north , Ira/inla were deemed terrorists subject to the rule of law remember this was essentially the decision of the uk government in the late 70s after political status revoked .
If caught members were jailed for a long time and deemed criminals , their actions were crimes according to the state .( not acts of war)
So accordingly to the rules as laid down by the government the shoot to kill policies brought in by the SAS should also be crimes .

On a separate point LC  I totally agree with you on the informer point .

Would love the gas if they are going to call games off to have the foresight to make an early announcement .
I have heard the game is off tomorrow. But obviously there is nothing official about it yet.
Thought better of going
No electricity and fair bit of damage around house

Common statement, but in the end it seems to make no difference.
Agreed
Love the explaining away of Lowry being acceptable to government but SF are not.

He got elected on
Immigration ,
Cost of living and the fact that the democrats pushed the trans gender policies which middle America don't agree with.
Reality is democrats lost the election more than trump winning it.

Can't see how it benefits citizens of this country when German funds are able to buy whole apartment blocks for rent which they have done 5/6 times over this past 4 years.
The 207 apartments in haymarket Killiney  bought off market for rent being the latest.
After the  belcamp manor houses,
They aren't doing it out of social responsibility .

Liking the Spanish government idea to tax non eu purchasers of houses/ property etc 100%  of purchase price.
Would love the government here to introduce a  proper penalty tax to stop non residents or pension funds from buying all the properties in the south .
