Mc Shanes confidence must be on the floor. Looked brilliant in the mc kenna cup, plays against a gael force breeze and dooher pulls him off at half time?? We had nothing to hit inside in the second half. Also to be an inside forward and have to watch Meyler hog the ball with putting inside his last resort must be awful.

Pulled him off as he was shocking. Good mc kenna cup he scored few frees against Derry that was the height of it. He wasn't only one there quite a few players that don't cut the mustard at that level and some have too many miles on tank. Club season will be early again looking at that

He was no worse than the rest of them. He might have scored the missed frees in the second half. Is he not a better option than Matty. All this solo solo and turn back.

I'd be in agreement with your donnelly comment slows everything down. No pace now. He was great servant but time to blood someone new in these other games

The Premeditated attack you aforementioned after half time was actually managements going at it after finding out what had happened. So if you were there you would know. Whether he did or didn't doesn't really matter now. But I can assure you there's no smoke without fire. Anyway good luck rest of year.

I shall repost just for you silverhill the trainer of your club spat in first half. 

And I have nothing against glen quality outfit and I suspect they could dominate ulster like the cross era. Just don't agree with the above antics.

Premeditated that's a good one. Man's got history did he not delve into an ex player he coached for years past, when they went against each other at inter county level. Taking sledging to an all time low!
What I would be saying is for a very good trainer he doesn't carry himself with glory all the time.

I removed nothing. Its well known fact in Tyrone he said stuff to cathal mc carron about his past as a method of sledging. As I said very good trainer but he let's himself down a bagful.

How was Glen's first goal allowed to stand.

From the official rule book

When he is within the small rectangle, the
goalkeeper may not be charged but he may
be challenged for possession of the ball, and
his kick or pass may be blocked. Incidental
contact with the goalkeeper while playing the
ball is permitted.

Swings and roundabouts. Glen were also denied a stonewall penalty.The better team won in the end up.

Couldn't be prouder of our lads efforts yesterday. Glen are a serious outfit but I felt we pushed them all way. The first goal laid the marker for game clear free out. I do think it was a foul in the incident that was a penalty however watching it back it looked like it was outside the box. Yeah few decisions didn't go our way but we can't have any complaints great season.

Very good referee performance from Stephen Campbell. He looks like a man that would fit in well with the inter county referees. Give that man credit where credits due.

Got the big call before half time wrong that led to Errigals goal that ultimetly proved to be the difference at the end. The play should have been stopped after Peter Og McCartans late hit on James Donaghy, didn't give it let play develop and led to Errigals goal.

Another big call that he got wrong was penrose stamp in first 15 mins straight red. Did he score 1-2 after that?

Anyone who thought they game was reffed well must be a ref himself. I thought he was utterly pathetic . Look how handy the Canavan’s got free compared to Marty P.
Fair play to Errigal though. Worthy champions and will give Glen their fill of it

Penrose maybe shouldn't of been on the pitch roddy to win a free after a clear stamp on the head in first half

Errigal have a well known history of stealing their neighbours best players. Peter Harte (Omagh), Eamon McCaffrey (Eskra), Peter Canavan (Killclogher). I am sure there are others.

Does Coalisland not have a strong history of this aswell

Up until some time in the 80's there was the Ballygawley St. Ciaran's football club, the only club in the Parish of Errigal Ciaran. Due to a simmering row within the club (I understand coming to a head in a parish tournament), members from the Glencull townland & surrounding area of the parish broke away and formed their own club, but were never able to formally affiliate with the Tyrone county board. Eventually a local priest was brought in to mediate between the two clubs and in the early 90's an amalgamation was created to form Errigal Ciaran - essentially going back to the same catchment area as the Ballygawley club prior to Glencull breaking off. Glencull, Garvaghy, Altamuskin & Dunmoyle are just townlands in the parish, with Ballygawley being a townland & village. Sixmilecross is in the Beragh parish, but players from that area have been split between Beragh, Errigal Ciaran & Carrickmore. The village of Seskinore is also in the Beragh parish, but has traditionally stronger affinity with Fintona (which it is closer to by distance than Beragh). Suggestions about Eskra is a specific bone of contention. 

Errigal Ciaran have been fortunate to have tremendous buy-in from its local community which makes some think of it as a "superclub", but it's no more of a superclub than Fintona is today simply because other clubs & parish tournament teams have existed previously in our parish to include the Barr, Aughafad, Carnalea etc. whilst also "stealing" players from Seskinore. 

A man with some history and a bit of knowledge. Too the rest who have very little history does it mean if a club changed its name does it mean their amalgamated, by that reckoning in tyrone there must be another 5 or 6 "super clubs".

The question you should be asking is if carrickmore or errigal win in 2 weeks will we see another decade of finals dominated by the 2 clubs as they are both fairly young.

Just thinking of errigal. That point given from D. Canavan was definitely wide from my view.
P. Teague probably best player in the pitch and I still can’t believe D&L played him at corner back against Armagh. Should be a shoe in for wing back for the county. Thought young Mcgarrity was excellent against Clonoe but the rest of their forward line was lackluster. If he plays that well agaisnt errigal their ulster club could be in jeopardy.

Such tripe talking about ulster clubs again. Both Errigal and Carrickmore would be more than happy with a tyrone title. As for the was it wasn't it a point the view to know whether it was a point or not was the umpire. It evens it self out over course of game as their was one in first half that wasn't given when it was over. Teague good footballer he was hung out to dry against armagh. Have to say I was very impressed Sunday with mc carron the full back for dromore. To me he is county standard

I never really thought the errigal balls was a thing but after that game I think there must be something in it.
By far the better team but seem to start to cave down the straight. Maybe carrickmore will have a good chance.

The driving rain and wind might of played a part

The only people who seem to talk about ulster and beyond for Errigal usually come from rivals as a ‘clever’ way of pretending they’re looking beyond Tyrone. They’ve not won a championship for 10 years. There’s no team in Tyrone anywhere close to ulster honours as has been shown time and again with dismal showings. We’ve a good championship but there’s not a high level team capable of more in the bunch.

Its not that clever though maybe they have too much time on their hands since an early exit who knows. All semi finals could go either way.
