It's a pity. The start of the process in annexing Armagh may have to fall back a week so.

I thought it was Dublin and mayo in ladies final!

Jesus you're right I thought they were in the actual final but it's just intermediate so even more so to go ahead with the more important matches at home with the bigger demand.... can't ruin the weekend of the many to satisfy a few....

so do you feel same about intermediate club here as well? thats why this county is going down the tubes... all the elitism

Has someone a chip on their shoulder?  A bit like small man syndrome

If you don't get what Intermediate and Junior means to clubs and counties you don't get what the GAA is about.... and have bought into elitism big man

Absolutely not the fact of the matter is there is a bigger demand for both junior and intermediate men's champ games than the women's county intermediate team shown by attendances.

Derrytresk would have had more supporters at their junior final a few years ago in croke park than the ladies will have on Sunday but nobody would have called for a suspension of all games in Tyrone to go watch derrytresk so why should the ladies with a smaller demand grind all games to a halt?

because it is affecting players and families from the same clubs as the Tyrone players...

This situation is not ideal but it is something the clubs involved just have to get on with. In the not so distant past Carrickmore have had situations were their men and ladies were playing in the Ulster Club championship at the same time, and have had senior league games the same time as Ulster Club hurling matches (with dual players involved).
Nothing was done then to accommodate, nothing is being done now to accommodate and nothing will be done in the future as long as clubs keep persisting with the refusla to play the early round of championship fixtures.

Could have been worked around. CCC arrogance

Just get on with it, it was the same for clubs with Tyrone U21 players a couple of years ago, County Board wouldn't put off games for clubs with players involved even though the management forbid the players from playing for their clubs.
