Frustrating as f**k, that was.

But typical of their problems this season. Just can't function when a team sits back, packs the center of the defense and forces them to work it down the wings.

Luckily, top four will remain within reach due to the inconsistency of others.
I dunno J70, with the fixtures they have coming up in April, finishing in the top 4 is a bit of a long shot.

Virtually no football coverage now across all platforms today now. What a c**k up by the BBC.
Man United fans wishing it happened last weekend  ;D

And Liverpool fans glad it happened today! ;D
Touché!

Once Salah missed that penalty you knew they were never gonna score today. VVD had a few chances in the first half, and the Jota header that led to the penalty was probably going in but really they created very little. That performance was more typical of this season than the one last weekend was.

I suspect there will be a few muppets who have been missing all week will be back on here pretty soon.... ;D

Is this us trying to help relegate Everton?! 😃

Sat early kickoffs have not been good this year. Shambolic
As if we'd get any thanks from them if we were beating Bournemouth, they'll be cheering Bournemouth on ffs! Anybody but Liverpool for them.

It's one of those days, it was always going to happen after last weekend.

As expected Bournemouth a tougher test than last weekend. Been pretty poor so far, could easily be further behind.

The fact Real scored 5 at Anfield is irrelevant as no away goals rule so Liverpool just need to win by 3 regardless of scoreline to bro G to extra time which is not inconceivable against the 2nd best team in Spain. If Real concede first they will be under massive pressure. Liverpool at 12/1 to qualify is a good bet.

Ancelotti has Liverpool's number. And Real are not going to turn in a basket case performance like United did on Sunday. Especially not on their own patch.
Yep,not a hope they actually go through to the next round, hopefully they come out of it with a bit of pride restored anyway. A narrow win or a draw and then move on with the rest of the season and put everything into getting Top 4.
In reality the Bournemouth game is more important than the Madrid game.

How the narrative has changed since that night.
A few on here who couldn't wait to comment at the time aren't so vocal now.

Rewatching this morning. Wife says I'm obsessed.
I tried to explain the significance of it.
I said that I know I said last year that a score like 5-0 would never happen again, but THIS will never happen again.  ;D ;D
No matches on that interest me tonight so I'm gonna watch it again tonight.
Do yourself a favour and watch the Peter Drury commentary of it, it's brilliant.

To be fair, a fella who wasn't good enough for Burnley probably thought he'd never get the chance again. Fair play to him for seizing the moment.

Back in the day Rooney used to stand in the tunnel and bounce the ball against it........

Great time for Gaaboard to crash!

Crashed like a few records.

Liverpool the first team in Champions League history to take a 2-0 lead but then lose the game by a three-goal margin and before tonight the most goals Liverpool had conceded in European match in Anfield was 3 goals.
A few records crashed yesterday also, you haven't been as quick to mention them though  ;D

Was the Salah on Martinez incident a 'sold down the River' example?
It was definitely a fall flat on yer arse moment 😂
