Comfortable. Didnít really get out of second gear but didnít have to. Could have had more and vvd and the defence looked assured for the most part.

Southampton in big trouble.
Very comfortable but I was still a bit uneasy until the final whistle!

Ah feck that. That's awful news. Such a young age.

I saw Liam score for Celtic in 2003 v Lyon. Was playing great stuff for Celtic, but things just didn't work out for him at United.

RIP
Saw him score a cracker for Ireland against Sweden. Think it was the time Staunton was manager.
Cancer is a cnut. Both my parents are just recovering from it
RIP to Liam.

Unexpected bonus with Chelseaís last two games. Would have expected 6 points to them from that. Conte under a bit of pressure
They have a tough enough run of games coming up now also. They have Man Utd and Man City sandwiched between their two games against Barca and Spurs the week after the 2nd leg.

Deserved a red for having such a stupid haircut anyway.

Chelsea 1 down at half time. Wouldn't be a bad weekend if it stayed like that.

The rules of the game need to be looked at, too many pens given for sod all and their just encouraging players to cheat. The first pen was clearly offside and the 2nd one he's just jumped in front of Van Dijk with no intention of controlling the ball.
What I don't get is how Dermot Gallagher, on the Sky Sports website, has looked at both and still thinks the first one was a penalty. Surely when Kane is offside from the initial pass then that means it can't be a penalty? I'm a bit lost on that one.
And to make it worse neither the Ref or the linesman actually knew if Lovern touched the ball. How could they give it if they didn't know what happend.
Anyway offside or not he dived so it wasn't even a penalty.

Gary Neville was laughable on commentary yesterday.
He was shouting so loud for a peno yesterday I'd say the ref and linesman heard him.
Also not to call out Kane for diving for the first peno amd Dele Alli for diving when he got booked is just typical of the English media.

Spurs to be fair deserved a point at the very least today.  They were the better team for much of the game.
A point is a better result for Liverpool as it obviously keeps us above them, but its a balls to be so close to 3 points even if they were scarcely deserved.
Some goals though from Salah and Wanyama.

I thought the second on was a penalty. Itís unlucky but in fairness he kicked the back of him. Never even saw him coming in. Great game and spurs well worth a point at least.

Looked like kane was already going down but o think Karius caught him. Second one was a penalty. Usual theatrics but there was contact. Wanyama... wtf!
Doesn't look like much contact. If anything looks like VVD is pulling out of the challenge

Mad stuff
Crazy. Spurs better team for most of it though so a point isn't  a bad result.
Didn't think either of them were penos plus he was offside for the first one.

Thought  Spurs would drop a few points tonight but with the other lot shitting their pants after 11 seconds it wasn't to be.
Still though Chelsea getting hammered is a bonus. Liverpool up to 3rd 👍
