Ox taking some hammering on social media.

Must have witnessed those cross field passes going straight out on umpteen occasions!

He hasnt set the world alight, but a lot of the criticism is unfair. He has started one game FFS!

I watched the first half last night, and they were very good. Went off to a GAA meeting then and couldn't believe when I saw the scoreline.
A real game of two halves alright.
I want Liverpool to win every competition they are in but I can't say I'm all that disappointment they were knocked out.
Would prefer the 3 points against them at the weekend.
He didn't have much to do apart from pick the ball from the net twice, neither of which were his fault, but I felt Ward looked far more comfortable and confident in the goals than Karius. I would prefer him as No.2 goalie.

Laoislad, If I hadn't consciously re-opened this thread and read your comment, it wouldn't exist anywhere outside of my mind.

Sure the only thing you can be certain about is your own mind.

Therefore you cannot know that the world outside your own mind exists...

So there’s a chance that you created the world you know and it exists in your mind only.......

DEEP
In my mind Laois are All Ireland Hurling Champions and Liverpool have won the league every year for the past 27 years. Is this the same for everyone?

Not much talk on here today . . . I thought yesterdays game was far and away a better match than the Hurling Final!
One good game a year.. ..
Hurling Championship was far better over all.
Even the Camogie final was better than most of the football  this year  :D

They didn't hit him hard enough.

Has anyone been following the Chris Kamara and Jeff Stelling videos in the lead up to the final?
They were at it yesterday and were mesmerised apparently about the whole occasion..
Just wait until they see hurling. ;)

'Rooney handed two-year driving ban'

You can take the boy out of Liverpool.......

Hang on. He's an Everton player, formerly of Manchester United, and you post this in here?
United do seem to have a higher number of dopes supporting them than any other club.

Cillian O'Connor is a choker. Had free in same spot that Peter Canavan scored against Armagh.

Are you one of those lads that brings everything back to Tyrone? (and I'm a Tyrone man myself). Canavan's was more straightforward and it doesn't matter anyway.
Yup there's always one who has to do that.

Hard luck to all the Mayo lads on here. Devastated for ye.

Same old story so far, exciting forward movement, poor strikes, and disaster at the back
Matip was a disgrace for their goal.
I actually thought klavan was more at fault.

Agreed. Matip was not strong enough but Klavan positioning was awful. Bad miss from Solanke near the end as well
Aye just seen it in MOTD. Looked easier to score. In fairness to Matip he did clear one off the line. The defending for that incident was worse than the goal. Not one Liverpool player jumped to head the ball.

I have no idea.Celtic would still be pumping Linfield I guess, and Linfield season ticket holders would still be throwing bottles at opposing players and getting off scot free.
But would you still be aware of it you f**king clown?
;D
I wonder do they have sky sports in the afterlife or would you still have to use an Android box.

Maybe. I had the young fella at his football and was only following it through Twitter and saw a gif of the goals.
Bad defending  (again) whoever was at fault.
Getting tiresome now.

General discussion / Re: Fused switch
« on: September 16, 2017, 09:33:10 PM »
Does the dishwasher still work when connected through the fused switch spur?
All the neon is doing is telling you that the switch is turned on.
Sometimes the little wires connected to the neon can break or become loose and that would give you that flickering you mentioned. It doesn't necessarily mean the switch is faulty.
If you feel you can manage the job yourself then just replace the switch. Or at the very least open up the switch can check the connections are tight.
Obviously turn off the power to it first at the mains.
