Quote from: bannside on October 14, 2024, 12:51:27 AMI talked to a lot of good Cargin men after the game who were gracious enough to say we gave a very good team their fill of it. That's all.

Good game! ref kept you in it if you care to admit it but at the end of the day the mcnamee resides in the cargin clubhouse to 2025 ,your chairman could have been gracious enough to shake cargin men's hands but refused but hey ho that the way he wanted to roll with it ,your very welcome into cargin for tomorrow the best day of the year "champions Monday" #Eoc #champions 🇳🇬

Quote from: bannside on October 11, 2024, 12:42:09 PMEnjoy the glory years of Cargin, its well deserved and hard earned, but a bit of modesty might serve you better.

Youse really do believe no one should be on the same stage as yourselves.

You're right, Sunday between the lines will sort that argument out, at least for another year

As Martin Kearney said Portglenone have the more skillful and faster players I guess will will see come 4.30 on Sunday what ribbons are on the cup

Quote from: bannside on October 07, 2024, 11:21:56 AMBig weekend past saw the culmination of juvenile activity for the year.

St Brigids won All County U-14 on Friday night, and added a minor title on Sunday. Congratulations on that, shows the work that's going on there.

PG1 beat them in the under 16 final a few weeks back, and Casements added the Minor B title yesterday with a dozen under 16s playing. In between they won SW under 16 (Breslin Cup) and SW minor (Laverty Cup). Those dozen players who overlap have 4 medals to show for their years activity!

Toome a great venue for a game should be noted.

The new southwest powerhouse? Plenty talent coming through
And the senior team getting a taste of corrigan yesterday too it's all ramping up this week
Antrim GAA still no tickets out for buying as yet 6 days before a county final

Quote from: bannside on October 03, 2024, 08:00:51 PMWonder who referee will be for the final. Darren, Kevin Parke, Mark O Neill, Paddy Tomelty....one from that quartet I'd imagine.

Smart money would be on parke

The Biddies doc won't be too proud of his after match behaviour this morning abusing poor Totes and a Linesman language you'd not even hear on a building site ever 😉
On now to the big day with the Ports it should be quite an occasion and one to look forward to.
Ports be firm favourites now after that semi final performance I'm sure BS will agree.

If Antrim got their house in order none of this would have happened need fourth official at all games as is standard everywhere else but once again it's Amateur hour in Antrim and the talk of the country for all the wrong reasons
Creggan embarrassing themselves also in all this but no shock there.

Quote from: imtommygunn on July 31, 2024, 03:11:22 PMOn league form Aghagallon seemed to be poor enough and Creggan not. Same with St Johns and Randalstown.

LD seemed very poor in the league too so their St Enda's game is an interesting one. People pointing to St Galls league form though St Brigids won the league so doesn't stack up so much but I would almost say it would be tie of the round. Aghagallon have county players back too so that could be an interesting one. They are the three that stand out for me.

It's hard to know how to predict Aldergrove Dunloy.

McCann(suspended) loughran hurt weak enough side without them

St Galls 25/1
Tir Na Nog 50/1
Glenravel, Aghoghill, Moneyglass all 100/1

St galls a better team than 25/1 I fancy them to come out of the group of death at very least

Quote from: bannside on July 22, 2024, 09:28:39 PMWe know what you've done, you've made it quite clear what you think DK. Another cheap shot IMO.

Really starting to look forward to this year's championship, half a dozen clubs could win it, Cargin setting the standard for others to match. Bring it on.

Beating a very poor Bellaghy side in a challenge game has went to your head BS 😉
