Luck has something about him that the great qbs have, an ability to forget about a mistake straight away and keep on going for it. Brees showed the same in the later game  after an awful start.

moyes has to be given more time. I think because utd won the title last year people underestimate just how big a job it was. Ferguson knew that his last team needed a major overhaul despite the title due to the age profile of the key players.

The cynic in me thinks that might have been a major factor in his decision to go. His ego could not have taken seeing a team of his  struggle against Newcastle/WBA at home and he knew the writing was on the wall.

The Glazers need to back moyes, prob in the summer as there will be limited quality available in Jan. They would do well to look at the common theme running through all the great teams success periods, Liverpool 70/80s, forest, Everton 80s, United 90s,00s arsenal 90s, 00s. they have all had long periods of managerial stability.The recent oligarch era is skewing this but a great club like United has to think longer-term.

Could get worse in a few months as well. NIE are at the Competition Commission at the minnute trying to get authority to raise their prices  as well. If they win hat case that will incresae everyone's charges, no matter who you actually pay your bill to.

I'm sure the United fans like OTB who seem to keep a much closer eye on Liverpool than their own team (which you can understand at the minute) will correct me but I cannot think off too many incidents this season where Liverpool players have been accused of diving. Utd on the other hand between Wellbeck, Young and Janujaz are rarely out of the news.

I started back running reasonably seriously last month after a 2 year break. a combination of change in job/ routine and a problem with my Achilles when road running meant I had to quit. 1st time out I could not believe how much my fitness has went down in the interim as I would have classed myself as naturally fit and play a lot of 5 and 7 side. I'm about a minute per mile slower over a 10k . hope to build it back up but didn't realise how far I had to go! just shows nothing compares to proper training.

you have to fancy the niners but Rodgers is one of the best in the business at getting rid of the ball quickly. I don't seehim getting caught to often. Matthews is a massive loss though.

hard to see that Tyrone team making much of an impression against donegal. I think its the right approach giving these guys a run but its a tough start for a group of players with limited experience of playing together. It .will be interesting to see how micky phases in the more experienced heads over the league campaign.

dont think Rodgers will care too much about the charge. I think the managers in general woudl be better served by saying nothing, especially when you look back over the various press confereences where they contradict themselves from one week to the next.

Its one thing sticking up for your players but when they take polar opposite positions on practically identical tackles/dives/decisions depending on whetehr its for or gainst them it means that anything they say is just viewed as hypocritical. Maybe the aim is to try and influence the ref for the next tight decision. Now I'm no referee, but if I were Lee Mason and the next Liverpool game there is a genuinely 50/50 call, I would be making the call against Liverpool just to "prove" that Rodgers comments had not influenced me.

The 49ers at the Pack is hard to call. On form it is the 49ers all day long,and I think they are the best overall team in the Conference but Seattle having Home field advantage is huge, they would be my pick to come out of the NFC but the Rodgers factor means you cannot write Greenbay off.  Remember 2010!!
