I'm really not a big fan of chocolate now but when I was a youngster, I loved:

Wagon Wheels
Breakaway
Trio/Club Orange
Double deckers
Minstrels/Treets
Texan (not really chocolate)

The ones out now just don't seem to taste as good now.

Any others out there? - I am trying to remember the name of one wee bar that was kind of orange/ biscuity in an orange and blue wrapper.

Uniteds were the name of that chocolate bar I couldn't remember - thanks, ardal.

Of course, I'm sure you can't get them now.

I miss having chocolate bars and crips up north you couldnt get down here.
Every time my mother went "home" for a few days we knew there were some exotic delights like the frys chocolate cream (the fruity ones) or those rasperry ruffle things, or "caramel cups" coming back.

Nowadays is all the same stuff on both sides of the border.
I suppose we can thank Mr Paisley and Adams for that  ;)

An honorable mention also has to go to the free ones we had just nicked from Wellworths in the Square. Always nicer when you didnt pay for them.

Would that be Dungannon? Is your name Bradley?  ;)

I used to love Club bars, i think there were orange and mint ones. The ad for them was brillant as well.

Not really from my youth, but have to give a mention to Secret's - supreme chocolate bar
Wispa as well

Incidentally, I heard last week or week before on radio, somewhere down the country a website was set up dedicated to bringing a chocolate bar back - 'x' amount of people registered on the website & the makers agreed to sell a limited version of the bar in question.
Anyone any information on this?

not really chocolate but an honourable mention has to go to Refresher bars and Highland Toffee bars. Pure dynamite for the teeth my dentist used to say. I took a notion in england last month and bought a Refresher bar. I felt about 6, but i'll tell ya they still taste as good as ever :)

For recent bars the peanut butter kit kats are seriously good, too good. :-[
