Actor Peter Wyngarde, aged 90.  Posters of my vintage may remember "Department S" and "Jason King" in the late 60s and early 70s.

All part of the TV programmes such as the Avengers, followed by the New Avengers, the Saint, the Protectors, the Man from UNCLE and Mission Impossible. 

Peter Wyngarde's Jason King was a stereotypical character in this age of television.
