KC victory blows the championship wide open with a lot of teams feeling they can win it. If Errigal get over the line you'd have to fancy them massively until proven otherwise, the 2 boys missing is a big blow but the forward power at their disposal is unmatched in the county

Goals_Will_Come

Quinn and Kelly massive losses for Errigal. Added to that the lack of football played by Ben McDonnell and Peter Og McCartan for them since last year provides Killyclogher with a big chance of winning the game. In Rafferty and Devlin they have two defenders who could do decent jobs on the two Canavans. Find it tougher to see who Errigal have to pick up Mark Bradley. If Killyclogher can break even with Oguz at midfield, theyve a big chance.

Errigal will be hard to stop again.

Very disappointed with KC
How many aimless high balls did they kick in, even from early on. Errigal weren't even good. I don't know if that's an ominous sign or not

When was the last time Killyclogher won a game in the Senior Championship?
2018? 2019?

2021. They beat Donaghmore in round one. Lost to the defending champs in first round the last two seasons. The joys of knockout football.

Don't think many would even have thought about picking Errigal to win by the biggest margin in the predictions thread! KC keeper having a meltdown with his kickouts at the end put a bit of a gloss on the final result. They will be ruing that goal chance at 3 down.

Agree with this. They were in third gear for the majority of that game and the final score is eye opening. I reckon it'll have to be someone from the other half of the draw to stop the first back to back since 2005.

I would disagree with this. Killyclogher caused serious problems second half when they ran at Errigal and had three goal chances. The Dara Hayes one in particular was a big miss, as Killyclogher had just kicked 3 in a row and the goal would have levelled the game. Hurson also then gave Errigal a few soft ones that let Errigal steady the ship. Killyclogher then just pressed the big red button from their own Kickouts. Omagh or Ardboe will certainly be confident they can nip Errigal.

Are you ruling out Coalisland?

Thought Hurson let Errigal systematically foul Killyclogher all night. Every time Errigal lost possession, Killyclogher were immediately fouled. Surely a referee of Hurson's stature should be alert & wise to that
One of the McCanns got clipped late on in front of the tv camera and even Paddy tally said the referee will have to come back to deal with that but nothing happened. Right in front of the linesman

In saying all of the above, Errigal are a slick outfit. Harte has been priming them for the rigours of the Ulster club later in the year

Not sure how many chances Donaghmore needed at the end to try and equalise there but I thought Moortown were the better team anyway. Seen Moortown play a few weeks back and was impressed by them then as well.

Errigal's preparations are always with Ulster Club in mind.

Small criticism of Tyrone TV is that the replays of scores are that long you miss most of the kickouts. We don't really need to see a replay of a 13m free going over the bar.
