Based on current evidence this team probably won't compete with the likes of Meath and Kildare. You've got to admire their perseverance though, that's twice they've dug out results now. And it's twice that Brian Whelan kicked the decisive score.

Laois Today named Sean Greene as their motm and it's hard to argue with that. Hopefully Donnacha will have words and tell them to make it easier on themselves next time out. The heart can only take so much.

Don't lose on Saturday and we top the group having beaten Westmeath earlier.
The real glory is being knocked to your knees and then coming back. That's real glory. VinceLombardi

Great day for Laois. Hurlers win and now minor footballers are through to Leinster semi final following win in Longford, 2-14 to 2-12. :D

Wasn't there but heard Laois were very impressive v Cavan

Went and watched the 15s today against Offaly. They were very good I thought. Very controlled and worked extremely hard. Offaly started ok but Laois got to grips early enough. 4-12 to 2-4 was the final score, one of the people there said Offaly bet us last year by a couple of points so fair play to them. Hopefully its the sign of a decent crop coming through. 14s were playing Wexford and 16s Roscommon I seen on twitter.

Jd

Saw 14s in WX even enough in two matches with one team losing and one winning. Second matches followed suit winning one and losing one but both were big margins. Speaking to management they reckon there's possibly 8 or ten chaps not in due to Kennedy cup soccer and clubs not sending lads in. Still there looks to be the nucleus of a very nice team there and a nice bit of size to them too

Are we up against Dublin or Wicklow? Think they are playing each other on Saturday ?

Well it will be the winner that we play obviously . Can we not also play the winner of Meath and Westmeath ??
