Note that the football free taking contest will have kicks from 33m out (top of the D).

RTE article states kicks will be from the 45...https://www.rte.ie/sport/gaa/2018/0705/976624-free-taking-comp/

Hopefully the referees will be aware of the rules of the competition and have the kicks taken from the correct distance.

When I was in a free taking comp, albeit at schools level, it was from the 45. Maybe they've changed it to the 33 but I'm almost certain it was initially from te 45, think I seen it from the 45 at inter county too.

That was changed to the " D" thingy a few months into the year.
