Considering the WX-KK game it put's our game V Wexford in a better light. Carlow will be a tough assignment no doubt, but I feel the home advantage should see us through by three or four points. To get Offaly in the following round should we win at home on June 24th would be fantastic. Dublin would not be a bad one to get either. IC hurling on the 8th of July looks plausible from here provided we avoid the heavyweights of Munster & Kilkenny.

I don't think we'd be anywhere near able for Dublin. Offaly be our only hope!
I presume we'd be away to Dublin? Parnell Park is fairly tight!

No, we wouldn't be able for Dublin; but I think we could still draw Westmeath. Home or away is, I think, dependant on who is drawn out of the hat first.
But Carlow will certainly fancy their chances, and if Laois' eye isn't on the ball, then they'll lose. Which would be a REAL downer.

We are in the Munster group with Tipp,Lk and the losers of Cork/Waterford,provided we overcome Carlow

We can be drawn against
Dublin
Westmeath
Kk
Losers of Offaly/Galway

First name drawn has home advantage,Draw next Monday morning on Morning Ireland

Dublin are in bother with alot of unease in the camp apparently.

First drawn doesn't have home advantage as the teams are in 2 separate pots.

Can't see how that could possibly work with two different pots.

If we get Dublin I'd bet we will be away. Played at home 2 years ago

Carlow will definitely fancy their chances. On a high after a very comprehensive Christy Ring final and remember that they beat us at U21 level in both 2015 and 2016 which included most our current senior team. I would be delighted with any sort of a win to be honest. I do think that if we approach the game with the same intensity as we did for the Wexford game we will get through. We didn't have the class or power to handle Wexford but it wasn't for lack of fight we lost.

Injury story not great again. We have had no luck this year and don't have the depth to handle losses.

Bowl 1: Tipperary, Limerick, loser of Cork/Waterford, winner of Laois v Carlow playoff
Bowl 2: Kilkenny, Dublin, Westmeath, loser of Galway/Offaly.
A team is taken from both bowls and placed in a third bowl and the first team out of that bowl will have home advantage.

Draw can't take place until 26 June as if Laois win playoff, they can't draw Westmeath as they have already met but Carlow can play Westmeath if they beat Laois.

Cha a major doubt for Sunday.

Not good. This is a big challenge on Sunday. Injuries are a problem. I hope they are preparing well for a tough game and aren't complacent. Cha is the talisman for this team so plenty of lads will need to stand up.

I wish the county board hadn't put it out there that we are not providing a time and date for the Clare game in case there is a double header......
