Anyone know if the time has been confirmed for this? Would make sense to have it Saturday night after qualifier games but they'll probably hold it back to Sunday anyway. Any chance they'll put the balls in a proper drum this time and spin it? Can't see why not.

How can they fix the draw if they don't see the containers ?  ;)

2001 was the only year quarter final's weren't all played in Croke park & Kerry/Cork are unbeaten at this stage while the like's of Down,Louth & Limerick still await for there first quarter final, if i counted right the Dubs have let in a total of 50pts in there last two quarter finals & connacht teams have only won 3 quarter final games, Galway 2001 (had to be a connacht winner) & Mayo in 2004/2006

So Mayo or Galway fan's can't complain if we don't win a quarter final with that record

But to put a spin on things.. when a connacht team wins a quarter final they get to the All Ireland final at least :P

2007 Quarter finals
Derry 0-18 Dublin 0-15 Croke park

Not pretty reading from a Dublin perspective and I remember each game. Apart this one, which bizarrely I have no recollection of whatsoever!!

Can anyone refresh my memory with a key moment or two?

Ah that's more like it!

We even gave Kerry a run for their money in the semi that year.

Kerry have a terrible record in quarter finals.

Kerry generally put in a big scoring performance at QF stage looking back through recent years.

Tyrone on the other hand haven't really set the QFs alight, unless of course they're playing Dublin!  :P
