Interesting to note that the only clubs to beat the favourites in all this week's provincial club championships were St. Brigid's (Roscommon) and Aherlow (Tipperary).    Can St. Brigid's do it again in the Connacht Final?.  Looks unlikely, but Aherlow should be good enough to reach the Munster Final.

The one and the same, F'n Eddie himself. TG4 should get him to commentate if they get to the final.

Think my wagers on Ballyhale at 5/1 and Ballinderry at 18/1 don't look like bad value at the moment. Long way to go yet though.

Think I'll have a wager on Clontibret at 4/1, Cross are minus Bellew and Aaron Kernan, having seen them a few times this year I just think they're not a patch on the AI wining teams and quite ordinary, if they can stop Oisin they're half way there, having said that they could possibly still have to much experience for a young clontibret team; wouldn't put tuppence on Cross beaten Ballinderry or Errigal.
