Where are our Rhode short stories

Is the centre forward county still still operating?

I see a host of Kerrymen involved with Offaly footballers this year.  Apart from manager Stephen Wallace, ex-goalie Brendan Kealy is goalkeeper coach, Brian Egan (a brother of hurler John Egan - not the Golden Years hero) is logistics man (whatever that is!!!) and the bould Billy Sheehan (ex Laois player and recently some sort of coach with Cork footballers) is trainer.  All according to Radio Kerry anyway.

The standard at club level is very poor (in comparison to Kildare football which we all know is not fantastic) from the few games I've seen this year, it will take a lot of effort and some time to get Offaly back up to the level they should be at.

Rhode will win Leinster.  :o

Rhode will win Leinster.  :o

If they make the final they woulf have to be fancied. Just have to beat Portlaoise, Moorefield and more than likely Vincents/Ballymun to get there.

After watching the county final, maybe not.

Very interesting topic.
I think that between 2/3 to 4/5 clubs in a divisional side would be efficient depending on area, numbers, etc.
Obviously one of the two teams could be promoted. I have alternative arrangements in the event of it happening.

West to East:
Shannon Gaels (Shannonbridge, St Rynaghs, Lusmagh)
St Colm's (Doon+Erin Rovers) could have Doon/Ballycumber/Tubber-ER JOIN K/K side
St Manchan's (Ballycumber+Tubber) see above
Ferbane
Birr+South Offaly
K/K, Kinnitty, Drumcullen, possibly Clodiagh Gaels/ER
Shamrocks
Clara
Durrow
Tullamore
Cappincur
United Nations(remainder of St Vincent's)
Raheen/Ballinagar, probably Clodiagh Gaels
St Brigid's/Clonmore/Ballyfore
Gracefield
St Broughan's
Rhode
