From a Galway perspective the most disappointing thing was that  the guys who got a chance today  no one really did anything to enhance their chances in the first team.midfield is a problem area for Galway at the minute and I'm afraid after today we still are in trouble.armstrong was lively, and look finnerty and conneeley are for the future.
well done to the rossies 4pts down at one stage and had the determination to turn it around.

Something that was alluded to on the "fantastic"😁galway bay commentary was that after the melee which mcentee got involved in he headed straight for the dressing room rochford they said didnt even look at him or speak to him could there be a bit of friction in the camp??or was he just pissed off mcentee got involved?

Yes it will be interesting to see who starts,I think you will see Michael Daly back for his first start of the year,Gary o Donnell should start too, padraig Cunningham, needs a full game to see what he has to offer.varley will start too I'd imagine.

Just saw there on Galway radio Twitter account pitch inspection at 8.30 am both games go ahead as planned.

Keep an ear to the radio before travelling, bit of snow here last night it's probably worse, out the should more than likely go ahead.

Good luck to Galway side Liam mellows today against cuala
"Miracles do happen"

Galway to start with the same 15, league is the league Walsh would have targeted this game as it is a home match,in fairness mayo travel well and after a defeat always seem determined to bounce back.i expect it to be the usual tight game with Galway that bit ahead fitness wise to shade it.

Have your mobdro app ready for this evening😁😁

Mayo not great at home, but kerry defence poor against donegal,
Mayo win.
Kildare need to win this one and in fairness were very good in the first half and could have had another couple of goals,
Kildare win.
Tyrone, Dublin to be a feisty affair,Tyrone hurting from last week and home support to shade a tight game.
Donegal don't have a great record in letterkenny but done enough in killarney to suggest they are more attack minded.
Galway are not bad on the road but home advantage to swing this one.

Apologies, wrong "padraig cunningham".
I  hope this younger padraig reaches his potential.
Tuam stadium to be checked out today to see if pitch going to be playable, could there still be a double header in Pearse stadium?

Below is a piece taken from an interview with galways new great hope in the forwards padraic cunningham.he had been part of all Ireland winners u21 2013
It sounds to me they are going to do a roscommon from 2 yrs ago and go all out to try and stay in division 1.

"Then speculation arose and there were talks with the Galway county board – they sat me down and told this is a big year, that they really want to push on and make a Division 1 challenge, to be there or thereabouts.

I hope it works out !!!

League form is diverse for a lot of teams, trying out new players ,systems and the is imperative(like that word) For the weaker teams Galway, kildare,to try & get as many points in the early rounds to have any chance of staying a Galway man I can see us realistically getting 4pts and at that a big if! It would not be good to go down after 1yr but if it happens so be  it.
May 13 is the big one and I expect Galway to once again to have the measure of mayo.
But  mayo to go on as main connacht
challengers for all Ireland honours.
