In most states. And even then you better hope you're at the right location or it probably won't count. Especially if the party in power is closing down precincts in your area.

I've no issue with the concept of voter IDs. What I do have an issue with is why, say, a gun license is a valid ID but a university ID is not. Or why government-issued IDs have to be purchased rather than issued without charge.
