Suprised we didnt use the 40 yards of empty space behind midfield better. Rather than run the ball out we could have knocked early ball into son who had the beating of lynch 1 on 1. Would have been good to see tyrone at 100% form and fitness but sine e for another year. Good luck to cork in the final.

Man u without ronaldo need a creative force in mf. Carrick, park, anderson are all very average players without much guile. Giggs cannot carry them and gt looks like rooney needs to be on the end of  his own passes such is the lack of ideas up front

Paper talk is mcgeady for £5mill and brown for £10mill to spurs. Would take the offer for brown in a sec as another non scoring headless chicken is easily found. Would expect similar price for mcgeady.  All proceeds to be spent on a proper 20 goal striker and creative midfielder

The money spent on Fortuné worries me a great deal.

Has there ever been a player more overhyped than rooney? He is nowhere near the top 10 forwards in the  world yet is hailed as the messiah

QuoteEh, dragline was their first album

They had 3 after that too - dragline was the best of the 4, that's all I meant.

All this notwithstadning - the best band of that era who got completely and utterly wrongly labelled 'Grunge' were The Afghan Whigs - a brilliant goup who always pulled out excellent motown cover versions live and on b-sides

QuoteIf they play like tonite they will rip Celtic to shreds

While Arsenal are undoubtedly favourites I think that should read:

If they are allowed to play like tonight and if Celtic play as badly and with as little heart as Everton they will rip Celtic to shreds....
