I've not seen that, I think there would be anarchy if such a thing was to be considered  :)

Quietest transfer window all round?
Since the PL has moved on to where managers are the superstars more than the players, we should definitely have a manager transfer window just to pump up the drama :p

Best of luck to big Felly as he departs for China, not everyone's cup of tea and probably never good enough for United but he never shirked or hid and always gave his all. He scored a few late important goals too

Did well to last as long as he did at the club. Going to be busy summer shipping out the dead wood and that should include at least 3 starters from last Tuesday.

I'd have kept him until the end of the season, he might have been of use in the last ten minutes of a game. You could see the other night we put so many crosses in but didn't look very dangerous from the until Lindelof scored. Fred could do with improving as we're a bit short in that department unless he changes the formation and drops Lingard or Mata in the middle and he restricts Pogba.

Kept him? Only problem with this sale is that they didn't package that other Belgian shitebag Lukaku off with him as well.
As someone said he did well to outlast 3 Managers at OT given how limited he was. An Everton player and nothing more. The Belgian Duncan Ferguson.

None of that is the lad's fault, he wasnt going to turn down a move to United.

Cant fault his attitude or his effort level any time he played, he gave everything he had, we all and he himself knows his limitations. But he never threw the toys out of the pram or hid at any point.

So would have nothing but best wishes for him where ever he ends up.

United were glad of him more than once late on in games. Always put a shift in and put himself about. If a few of his more illustrious team mates had the same attitude for the last couple of years United would be in much better shape.

Over the Bar

+1.  Combative from the money he crossed the line and for every minute he was on the pitch. All the best big lad.

Over the Bar

Solid away win today  Could have been easier if we'd taken chances but ground it out in the end. Lingard and Sanchez playing in the same line up is a disaster waiting to happen as both give the ball away constantly.  Another moment of sheer class from Rashford to win it. Sublime finish.

GJL

Pogba and Rashford have built a great partnership. Serious amount of goals and assists between them. Top 4 a real possibility now.

There are plenty of players throughout the divisions who could put a shift in and have a great attitude but it doesn't make them good enough for Man United. Fellainis time at United signifies some of the worst football seen at the club. He is most suited to playing just off a front man but within the confines of a primitive game plan that involves long balls and lots of crosses. He was one lucky lad to last 6 years at Man United, he is a Big Sam/Pulis type player.

A primitive game like say Belgium?

thewobbler

It's an odd thing.

I'd suggest that every team should have a Fellaini just in case. For if you need a goal and there's 5 minutes to go, there is no more effective way to achieve that than by pumping the ball atop of a man who wins the majority of aerial battles.

Where the problems arise is when you don't have that player's interest just to be a bit part player, or when you have a manager who can't help thinking this strategy can work for 90 mins.

Ole hasn't really needed the former yet, but eventually he will. Jose just got lost.
